These three were the reinforcement team led by Nagato, with Akame and Konan as the other two members.
Something had gone wrong with the operation to capture the Two-Tails, so Nagato had personally set out, just in case.
After all, if the Two-Tails revived, Kakuzu and Hidan would have to face two Tailed Beasts, dozens of elite Kumogakure Ninja, and the Amber Purifying Pot left behind by the Sage of Six Paths, all at once. That was a lineup most people simply could not handle.
