As though he had teleported, Shihōin Naraku powered straight through Uchiha Itachi's Three-Tomoe Sharingan genjutsu and slashed down fiercely with Kurikara.
Kisame Hoshigaki drew Samehada in an instant and blocked in front of Uchiha Itachi. Sparks flew as the two weapons collided.
"Fire Release: Great Fire..."
Uchiha Itachi reacted very quickly. Discovering that his genjutsu had had no effect whatsoever, he rapidly formed hand seals, gathering chakra in his throat, ready to spew out a massive fireball.
But before he could finish his hand seals, Shihōin Naraku slammed a Fire Fist straight into him, sending him flying.

Then Shihōin Naraku raised his leg and drove a vicious kick into Kisame Hoshigaki's abdomen, unleashing monstrous strength that sent him flying.

Kisame Hoshigaki spat out a mouthful of blood as he hurtled away, plowing a long trench through the ground before crashing heavily into an unfinished building.
