Obito Uchiha stood on high ground, frowning as he gazed into the distance at the towering mushroom cloud that had stained the sky an unsettling color.
"The ground is shaking so violently that it's even reached here!"
From the sight alone, Obito could tell without much thought how wild and intense the battle between Madara Uchiha and Shihōin Naraku was.
"It looks like the meteorites that fell from the sky just now caused explosions and earthquakes when they struck the ground."
The disturbance was enormous!
Obito had no idea how fierce the battle between those two had become to cause such devastating consequences.
"As I thought, even Madara might not be able to defeat Shihōin Naraku."
Deep down, Obito had still held a faint hope that Madara could eliminate Naraku, their formidable enemy.
After all, he was no match for Naraku himself. They had clashed many times, and every time, he had been defeated and suffered heavy losses.
Without Black Zetsu's help, he might have died long ago.
So now, he had no psychological advantage over Naraku whatsoever.
Whenever he thought of fighting him, his confidence faltered.
If Madara could eliminate him, that would settle things once and for all!
But now it seemed that even Madara might not be able to defeat Shihōin Naraku.
If he could, the battle would not have dragged on this long without stopping, with the commotion only growing louder.
That in itself meant that either the battle had reached a stalemate, or Madara was fighting desperately.
As for why it could not be Shihōin Naraku who was fighting desperately, if he had been at a disadvantage, Black Zetsu would have brought Obito the good news yesterday.
