At Tsunade's command, Hinata Hyuga scanned the battlefield with her Byakugan, trying to find the two of them.
"You haven't found them?" Tsunade asked with a frown.
For some time now, everyone in the Allied Shinobi Forces had only been able to see Shihōin Naraku and Madara Uchiha fighting each other furiously.
There had been no sign of Naruto or Sasuke at all.
That meant there was a strong chance something had happened to them. Otherwise, they would have long since joined Naraku in fighting Madara.
But at the time, most of the ninja had been focused on Naraku and Madara's battle, completely overlooking Naruto and Sasuke.
"Found them!"
Since she had not found Naruto and Sasuke near Naraku and Madara, Hinata shifted her gaze to search in other directions. Soon, she found the two where the earlier battle had taken place.
"How are they? Are they both injured? Or..." Tsunade hurriedly asked, leaving the worst possibility unspoken.
Hinata stared at the distant battlefield and answered, "They do seem to be injured, but Naruto's injuries aren't too serious. As for Sasuke, Sakura is trying to save him right now!"
It seemed Madara had injured them earlier!
Still, hearing that Naruto was not in serious trouble put Tsunade at ease.
Of course, Sasuke being badly injured was not good news either.
"So Naraku sensed that Naruto and Sasuke had been defeated by Madara. That's why he rushed into battle."
