If he were surrounded by enemies on all sides like this, he would certainly do everything he could to break out. Where would they try to break out, then? Apart from Boulder'gor, they seemed to have no other choice.
At last, he suddenly realized something. Could those missing Orcs be massing their forces to attack Boulder'gor? The more he thought about it, the more likely it seemed.
Those Orcs surely understood their current situation. Even if they defeated every human force sent to hunt them down, they would still be surrounded.
Worse still, they had no supplies. The humans could simply wear them down until they died. Their only hope was Boulder'gor. If they breached it, they could not only break out of their encirclement but also overturn every advantage the humans had gained.
"My lord, what is it? Have you discovered something?" Ailand, standing beside him, asked instinctively when he remained silent for so long.
"Ailand, I have a theory. If it's true, we're in serious trouble. Do you think those missing Orcs might be gathering in secret, planning to break through Boulder'gor?"
"My lord, how is that possible? How many surviving Orcs could there be? How could they possibly take Boulder'gor?" Ailand was astonished by his theory.
"Yes, all of you think it's impossible. So why couldn't the enemy exploit your assumptions? Just like when we launched our surprise attack on Boulder'gor last time. They never imagined we would attack them either, did they?"
After hearing this, Ailand felt it did seem possible. Especially since Marshal Lothar had taken the main army to the front, there could not be many troops left guarding Boulder'gor. That made such a breakout far more likely.
"My lord, what should we do, then?"
"Don't panic yet. This is only my own theory.
