• Lu Yu healed the Golden Hawksbill Turtle with the Gold of Life and secured her and the Ancient Song Fragrant Phoenix Bird as future Soul Spirits, while Xuan Zi searched for his missing Shrek companions.
• The Death Messenger destroyed Shrek’s refuge with corpse bombs, killing twenty members of the expedition and driving Xuan Zi to swear vengeance on the Holy Spirit Cult.
• Zhongli Wu and Feng Ling attacked the Three-Eyed Golden Lion and Scarlet King, but Di Tian arrived to protect them and battled the intruders alongside Xuan Zi.

• Lu Yu’s team beat Zhengtian Academy in the Two-Two-Three format, with Wu Feng and Lu Yu defeating Yu Mengdi and Tang Xiaolei while Lu Yu collected their martial soul fragments.
• Lu Yu investigated Huo Yutong’s mother’s death, found that Huo Yun’er’s soul had been taken, and decided they would need to retrieve it in the Star Dou Great Forest.
