At the Ernst Institute, Lin Yinuo guides Linley’s early cultivation while using the library to obtain knowledge and system rewards. His meeting with Elena Polenas, also called Ailina, develops into a commercial and intelligence partnership. Imperial Bulwark

Anticipating war between the O’Brien and Luo’ao empires, Lin Yinuo combines system-granted military knowledge with a Simplified Magic Cannon Blueprint. At Third Watchfort, he directs five cannons against enemy siege engines and catapults, helping break the assault and earning the title Imperial Bulwark 18 20.

The victory brings acclaim but also scrutiny from the empire, the major churches, and Craftsman God Mountain. He responds by tightening operational secrecy, abandoning compromised commercial channels, and assigning Hogg and Ailina responsibility for strengthening the clan and accumulating resources 21.

Necropolis Expedition and Departure

Lin Yinuo uses the approaching opening of the Necropolis of the Gods to investigate a passage connected to Gebados Planar Prison. During the expedition, he secretly stabilizes Linley’s awakening bloodline and diverts a Saint-level undead attack through spatial distortion rather than confronting it directly 24 25 27.

At the prison’s core rift, he contacts Leylin Baruch, Bluefire, offering outside information in exchange for fire-law guidance. Before leaving the Yulan Continent, he entrusts the Shadow Commerce Guild and intelligence network to Ailina, discusses the clan’s future with Hogg, and leaves Linley an inheritance crystal and emergency teleportation token 28 30.

Rise in the Infernal Realm

After arriving in the Infernal Realm, Lin Yinuo establishes himself in Blood Peak City. He rescues Baton, Carl, and Amy and recruits them as Dragon Shadow’s first members. His destruction of the Bloodblade Bandit Group earns him the nickname Dragonblood Asura, while his defeat of the Blackwater Profound Serpent secures Five-Star Fiend status 31 33 35 37.

In Zijing Main City, he enters the Asura Arena to obtain permanent residency. His hundred-win streak draws powerful observers and recruitment attempts. He refuses the Zijing Army’s invitation to preserve his independence, then breaks through to Midgod and forces Golden Flame Castle’s attacking Highgods to retreat 38 41 43 44 45.

Abyss of Chaos and the Sovereign of Death

Lin Yinuo agrees to recover a Moonlight Soul Lotus for the Youyue Prefect in exchange for a detailed star chart and protection from Golden Flame Castle. He secures its essence amid attacks from Impermanence, an Abyssal Demon Beast, and Soul-Devouring Demons. Afterward, he spends several days suppressing the depletion and backlash caused by using Guixu 45 47 49.

Summoned to the Netherworld, he crosses the Nether Sea and meets the Sovereign of Death. She identifies the incompleteness of Guixu and directs him toward the cycle of life and death. He accepts her request to question Hongmeng after fulfilling the future conditions of gathering the Four-series Sovereign Spark, mutating his soul, and reaching the universe’s peak; he also promises secrecy concerning her investment 50.

His composure does not make him submissive. He acknowledges his limitations when negotiating with Bluefire, refuses coercive recruitment, and defends his autonomy even when doing so costs him a powerful backer.
