A Highgod in fiery red robes stepped out of the teleportation array. As he appeared, Midgods and Lowgods emerged behind him without pause. In the blink of an eye, there were already over a hundred Midgods, and the number of Lowgods was still rising.

The unceasing pillars of teleportation light drew the attention of the Amethyst Alliance Midgod guarding the array. One Midgod and more than ten Lowgods stood guard there, while the other nine Midgods cultivated in a castle nearby.

The Midgod who noticed the anomaly immediately called the other nine through voice transmission. By the time the Highgod appeared, the other nine had also arrived before the teleportation array.

As more and more Midgods and Lowgods emerged, the nine men's expressions grew increasingly grim.

Above all, none of them could gauge the man leading the group. They only felt that his aura resembled their leader's and guessed that he was most likely a Highgod. Their unease grew ever stronger!

The two groups faced each other in midair. All the deities behind the Highgod had emerged from the teleportation array: no fewer than a hundred Midgods and over five thousand Lowgods. It was truly a terrifying force.

"I am Aosijiade, the Fire God of the Demon Alliance. Those who refuse to submit will die!" The utterly overbearing voice came from the fiery-robed Highgod before them.

The ten Midgods of the Amethyst Alliance looked even grimmer. Fortunately, they had already notified Lei Jialie that a Highgod had arrived through the teleportation array.

Aosijiade looked toward the distant sky. Through his divine sense, he saw a streak of purple light flying toward the teleportation array at tremendous speed. Its aura also belonged to a Highgod, and he realized that someone who could make decisions had probably arrived.

He simply hovered in the air, waiting for the purple light to arrive, no longer looking at the Midgods opposite him. Naturally, the Amethyst Alliance Midgods did not know that their leader was almost there; their divine senses could not reach that far.

Seeing that the other side made no move, they were happy to keep stalling until Lei Jialie arrived.

Whoosh!

In an instant, the purple light on the horizon stood before the deities guarding the teleportation array.

"Phew!"

At the sight of their leader, the ten Midgods breathed sighs of relief. After all, standing before a hostile Highgod put them under considerable pressure.

Looking at the Highgod opposite him, Aosijiade could not help the slight upward curl of his lips. "It seems the Alliance will soon have another Highgod."

"I, Aosijiade, serving under the Demon King of the Central Continent, hereby invite you to join the Demon Alliance and help my lord, the Demon King, unite the Infernal Realm!"

Having spoken, Aosijiade regarded Lei Jialie with a fanatical gaze. Since becoming a Highgod, Aosijiade had seen everyone below that rank as ants. Only fellow Highgod experts were worthy of speaking with him.

Lei Jialie understood that this would probably not end peacefully today. The other man had come intending to subdue them by force if they refused to submit. With the operation of the teleportation arrays, the name of the Central Continent's Demon King had long since spread throughout the Infernal Realm.

At the very least, he was undoubtedly the strongest figure publicly known in the Infernal Realm at present.

Lei Jialie had heard Rhodes say that several experts should still be hiding in the Infernal Realm. Watrod of the Sea of Chaos, for instance, was not particularly famous because he had not occupied a continent, but his strength certainly would not be low.

A trace of worry flashed through Lei Jialie's eyes. The Demon Alliance was certainly stronger than the Amethyst Alliance. The only question now was how much of the Demon Alliance's strength had come to the Amethyst Continent.

The Infernal Realm had never been a world where one could afford mercy. From the moment the teleportation arrays appeared, Lei Jialie had understood that the Infernal Realm would probably descend into chaos for countless tens of thousands of years. Once he and Zijing had become Highgods and chosen the path of contending for supremacy in the Infernal Realm, there had been no turning back.

He had originally wanted to continue developing their forces. What he had not expected was that, before he was even ready to leave the continent and occupy other regions, another force would come to the Amethyst Continent first-and it was the Demon Alliance, whose fame now resounded throughout the Infernal Realm.

The Demon King of the Demon Alliance lived in a castle that was purplish-black throughout, with a particularly striking giant statue of himself outside. Its clearly defined face and that sinister, blood-red single eye were difficult to forget after even one glance.

Whatever those above favored, those below pursued with even greater zeal.

The several Highgods within the Demon Alliance all built castles with statues of the same design. After them came the Midgods and Lowgods, whose castles were all much the same in style.

Because most members of the Demon Alliance lived in castles.

The Demon Alliance thus had another name: "Fiend Castle!"

As all these details about the Demon Alliance passed through his mind, Lei Jialie secretly considered how he could keep every one of these people here at the lowest possible cost.

Feeling that it was about time, Lei Jialie immediately unleashed his innate divine ability, Amethyst Space, enveloping the Highgod and Midgods ahead. As for the Lowgods-sorry, there were too many of them, scattered too widely. It was not that he could not encompass them, but drawing them all into Amethyst Space would only weaken its power.

It was better to concentrate all his strength on holding down the enemy's strongest combatants first and wait for Zijing, Rhodes, and the others to arrive. As for how many of the Alliance's deities guarding the teleportation array would survive, that would depend on them.

As for Rhodes, it was not as though Lei Jialie had never invited him to join the Amethyst Alliance. Rhodes had also refused him clearly and directly. Leaving Rhodes's strength aside, he could be considered the leader of a force himself. Though it was not strong, it was still a force in its own right.

Though that force was somewhat weak, as long as Rhodes and Pash returned to the Thunder Region, it would become one of the Infernal Realm's top forces.

After Rhodes refused, Lei Jialie never again mentioned inviting him to join the Alliance. Instead, the brotherly bond among him, Rhodes, and Pash grew even deeper.

After inviting Rhodes to join, Lei Jialie had also felt some regret over speaking so rashly. After all, Rhodes was no weaker than he was, despite still being a Midgod. If Rhodes became a Highgod, he would certainly be stronger. Who would be the elder brother then, and who the younger?

Though all this took a long time to describe, it had passed through his mind in only an instant.

Afraid that the enemy Highgod would discover that Zijing, Rhodes, and the others had surrounded them, Lei Jialie could only estimate when enough time had passed and immediately unleash his strongest move to hold down this Highgod who called himself Aosijiade.

"Ah!"

The moment Amethyst Space enveloped him, Aosijiade was enraged. He had not even attacked yet, and this man had dared strike first, showing no regard whatsoever for him or the Demon Alliance.

"Kill! Kill the deities near the teleportation array and seize this entire continent! All for the Demon King!"

As soon as Aosijiade finished speaking, the more than five thousand Lowgods outside Amethyst Space shouted together, "All for the Demon King!" In an organized, disciplined fashion, they all launched Material Attacks. Attacks of every color and description flew toward the ten Midgods and hundred Lowgods of the Amethyst Alliance who had previously guarded the teleportation array.

Meanwhile, among the Amethyst Alliance's deities.

The hundred-odd deities felt utterly desperate. The Midgods could rely on their speed to evade the attacks, but the remaining hundred Lowgods would certainly not survive. Many of the Amethyst Alliance Lowgods who understood this unleashed their full strength, determined to take someone down with them even if they died.

For a time, blades flashed and swords flickered everywhere. Though the Demon Alliance had greater numbers, the Amethyst Alliance still had ten Midgods present. Through their strength, they managed to narrow the gap between the two sides.

Lei Jialie had already begun a fierce clash with Aosijiade inside Amethyst Space.
