Fog Sea Riot

Eight years. The Metal Lifeform had flown for eight years without danger or alarm along the way. Perhaps Rhodes was not very well known within the alliance, but Pash was famous. As mentioned before, half the earliest batch of Midgods had joined the Amethyst Alliance only after Pash beat them into submission while he was a Midgod himself. Naturally, they would recognize Pash and would not come looking for trouble.

And so they flew along leisurely until they reached the southeastern corner of the Amethyst Continent. A little farther ahead lay the shores of the Star Mist Sea.

Rhodes had his own reasons for choosing this direction. After all this time, he had heard nothing of the Four Divine Beasts, so he planned to visit their home, the Skyrite Mountains, and take a look.

After coming to this world, perhaps the only things that resembled his previous life were these Four Divine Beasts. After all, there had been legends of the Four Divine Beasts in his previous life as well. Whatever the case, Rhodes intended to go and see them.

Within moments, those electric snakes had spread to the sky above their Metal Lifeform. Rhodes started in shock. "That covered at least a thousand li in the blink of an eye."

The speed at which the electric snakes spread truly startled both Rhodes and Pash.

Rhodes had comprehended the lightning speed profound mysteries himself, but they certainly did not grant such speed. It was almost like the speed of light. At that thought, Rhodes closed his eyes. The lightning flash profound mystery of the Laws of Lightning, which he had previously been unable to master no matter what he tried, was finally about to reach mastery.

Without hesitation, he began contemplating it. With the aid of the sight before him in the Star Mist Sea, he successfully found a point of convergence with the profound mysteries of thunder.
