"Big brother, we never should have left the Metal Lifeform in the Hall of the Gods. We've been flying for fifty years, and according to the information we gathered, we've only reached the Thirty-Third Ring. We're still many years away from the Central Region," Pash complained to Rhodes yet again.
"I didn't think it through," Rhodes said apologetically, baring his teeth. First, he had forgotten how few Teleportation Arrays there were in the Netherworld. Second, he had never imagined the Undead Realm would be so vast. He had grown accustomed to using Teleportation Arrays in the Infernal Realm to save flying time, and had not expected the Undead Realm to be so large. Without a Metal Lifeform, the two could only fly under their own power. Sometimes, when flying grew tiresome, they would find a few deity-level undead to ride, but unfortunately, neither their speed nor their comfort could compare to a Metal Lifeform. How could Pash not complain about Rhodes leaving their Metal Lifeform in the Infernal Realm?
Over the years, the two had encountered a great many deities and learned almost everything about the Outer Region. However, they still knew little about the Central Region and needed to find an Undead Lord to question.
"Let's go. Full speed ahead," Rhodes told the enormous deity-level undead Bone Dragon beneath his feet.
"Yes, Master."
A pair of enormous skeletal wings whipped up a hurricane, but that strong wind had no effect whatsoever on Rhodes and Pash, who stood atop the Bone Dragon's head.
The Bone Dragon became a gray-white streak as it flew at tremendous speed. From time to time, deity-level undead creatures rose into the air below them. In such cases, Pash or Rhodes would usually kill them outright with a casual strike, collect the victims' possessions, then direct
