After splitting the Yulan Continent’s sky, he made Bebe a Darkness Sovereign and vanished with Hathaway; in spatial turbulence, he revealed that he had given his Sovereign divine spark to Annie and challenged anyone who thought he was vulnerable.

Rhodes awakened the full power of his Xuanhuang Indestructible Body and punched a hole through the Coiling Dragon Universe, vanishing into the gray energy as it consumed the Sovereigns who had stayed too close. The remaining Sovereigns believed Rhodes was dead, leaving Hathaway and Annie to hope for his return while the balance of power began to shift.

• Rhodes sent Hathaway, Annie, Pash, and the other Sovereigns away before preparing to break through the universe, while many Sovereigns stayed to watch.
• Rhodes awakened his Xuanhuang Indestructible Body, and Orloff realized the gap between them had become impossible to bridge.
• Rhodes shouted "Break!" and punched open a vast black hole, releasing gray energy that erased the Sovereigns who had not retreated, along with their Sovereign Sparks.

After transcending into Hongmeng Space, Rhodes met Hongmeng and helped suppress a Light Ball containing the fundamental Rules and coordinates of their universes. Rhodes became a First-Level Hongmeng Controller, and he and Hongmeng prepared to counterattack the Other Universe behind the Light Ball.

• Rhodes emerged from the black hole into Hongmeng Space and followed Hongmeng's call to a small land beneath a Cassia Tree.
• When the Light Ball struck the Hongmeng Golden Ranking and shed a fragment, Rhodes intercepted it and discovered it was an independent system containing the complete Rules of the Coiling Dragon Universe.
• Hongmeng explained that the Light Ball had emerged from Rhodes's newly created universe and that a being from another realm was using it to send Reincarnators into Hongmeng Space.
• Hongmeng gave Rhodes methods for creating a perfect universe and life, then instructed him to place his soul power on the Hongmeng Golden Ranking.

He arrived back at Heaven-Reaching Peak less than a day after leaving, and the author announced that the story had ended.
