As Xie Xiyi fought the cultivators pursuing them, Chi Yu reunited with Xiaoqiu, revealed the system’s mission, and learned more about the Xie Clan’s fate.

Chi Yu and Xie Xiyi fled into the Demon Realm as the seals broke and the Immortal and Demon forces clashed. After Xie Xiyi entered the Demon Kingdom to save Chi Yu, its ruler healed Chi Yu and took possession of Xie Xiyi’s body, leaving Xie Xiyi’s Nascent Soul Spirit in Chi Yu’s hand.

• Chi Yu and Xie Xiyi rescued Lianchi from Fu Ze, and Lianchi returned to the Mo Family grounds and killed the family members who remained there.
• As the Demon Realm’s seal began to break, Chi Yu, Xie Xiyi, and Lianchi fought demonic cultivators, then faced Tingyun’s formation, and Chi Yu confessed his love before Xie Xiyi escaped with him into the Demon Realm.
• Chi Yu found Xie Xiyi gravely weakened and restored his body with Nascent Soul Spirits, while Wu Yunsu was captured and later reunited with Chi Yu.
• Chi Yu and Wu Yunsu gathered Nascent Soul Spirits as the Demon Realm prepared to attack, and Chi Yu promised to protect Xie Xiyi if his strength faded.

• After Chi Yu awoke, the Demon Kingdom’s Xie Xiyi explained that the world had restarted twice and took possession of Xie Xiyi’s body, leaving his Nascent Soul Spirit in Chi Yu’s palm.
