  • Zi volunteered to lure the approaching demons away, and Bai led the others toward the delegation.

Ch. 571Child of Mu

Commander Heavenly Wolf promised retaliation and agreed to send the youth to the Human Race’s great central tribe, where he chose the name Li.

  • At the Zhou Mountain Royal Court, Jiang Yang praised Black Wind for killing an Immortal Clan inspecting envoy and asked what reward he wanted.
  • Black Wind claimed Jiang Yang’s recognition was reward enough, and Jiang Yang told him to stay at the Royal Court until the coronation.

Ch. 573Little Phoenix

Jiang Yang considered how to address the border demons’ reluctance to suffer losses in frontier conflicts without driving them toward the Immortal Clan. Little Phoenix proposed forming border demon legions, earned a divine spear as a reward, and was then assigned to plan the policy’s implementation.

  • Jiang Yang reflected on the border demons’ careful defense of their clans and why he could not force them to fight harder.
  • Little Phoenix proposed that the border clans leave their ancestral lands and form legions to defend the frontier, easing resentment between border demons and those in the Eastern Wasteland’s interior.
  • Jiang Yang praised Little Phoenix’s idea and gave her the crimson divine spear she requested, despite having intended it for the Fire Crow clan leader.
  • Jiang Yang ordered Little Phoenix to prepare a detailed implementation plan with Baize and coordinate it with the confirmation of the three hundred and sixty-five Demon Kings and demon kingdoms.

In the Zhou Kingdom’s reign of King Mu, the king traveled west to meet the Queen Mother of the West, just as Filiya emerged from seclusion on West Kunlun.

  • The Dao Ancestor awakened in his temple, declared that the time had come for the Immortal Clan to leave something for the Mortal Realm, and sent immortal lights to establish abodes throughout the Immortal Realm.
  • A young man in the rainbow palace received the Dao Ancestor’s decree and worried that his assigned role would influence the Sixth Epoch too greatly.
  • King Mu led his royal tour west from Luoyi, crossing the Yellow River and Taihang Mountains before reaching West Kunlun.
  • Filiya emerged from seclusion atop West Kunlun, her divine radiance contained and her movements carrying the truths of heaven and earth.
