Upon returning home, Yue collapsed onto his bed, mentally reviewing everything that had happened that day.

He then opened his backpack and laid out his haul.

He could try practicing this Binding Jutsu; it might be useful in combat.

Besides his own experience, he recalled Orochimaru using it when he first met Sasuke and the other two.

However, the same jutsu performed by different people yielded different results.

D-rank ninjutsu didn't demand a high amount of chakra. The only challenges were hand seal speed and chakra responsiveness.

"As for this Curse Mark..." Yue examined the scroll in detail. It turned out this Curse Mark jutsu wasn't just meant for the three of them. With the intention of training soldiers, once Grass Seed cultivated those bandits into underground ninjas, they would also be subjected to it for control.

This explained why those scrolls and documents were in the cave; some scrolls were for the subsequent cultivation of ninja forces.

Although this Curse Mark was relatively low-level, it was sufficient for Grass Seed.

Curse Marks differed from regular ninjutsu in the precise chakra control required during their execution. To create ninjutsu, one needed extensive knowledge and experience related to ninjutsu, combined with their own abilities... and it could only be born after frequent practice.

The most classic example of this was the Second Hokage, Tobirama Senju.

He created a considerable number of ninjutsu and forbidden jutsu.

Therefore, even if Yue couldn't practice these ninjutsu, they still held value.

Speaking of which, it was worth mentioning that when Yue first transmigrated to the world of Naruto, his chakra nature was singular, like most ninjas: Wind Release.

Chakra natures were largely hereditary.

But in the official databook, all three possessed almost all natures, with differences only in Yin and Yang. Kakashi, in particular, had all seven natures. Hiruzen Sarutobi, known as the "Professor of Ninjutsu," could use five different types of ninjutsu.

Of course, the Third Hokage's abilities were largely due to heredity; his father, Sasuke Sarutobi, was the same.

Whether it was protagonist's halo, innate talent, or some requirement Yue couldn't comprehend.

He was certain that the bottleneck in cultivating and possessing chakra natures wouldn't be too difficult for him.

Only ninjas with low talent and strength couldn't achieve multiple natures.

Yue hadn't told his mother about the mission.

According to Ryuga, because they had exposed Grass Seed's scheme, the names of the three of them had reached the ears of the higher-ups, and they had gained some fame.

Then, a few days later, the three of them received notification to prepare for their second outdoor mission.

The mission level was C-rank.

But before the mission began, Ryuga specifically invited Yue to his home.

Yue once again met Ryuga's father.

There wasn't much to discuss, just casual conversation. Ryuga's Father expressed his hope that Yue would "take good care" of Ryuga during the mission.

Yue naturally understood the implication behind his words.

Being able to attach himself to Grass Flower's influence was originally part of his plan... so he didn't refuse.
