Background / History

Imperial Infiltration and Qian Daoliu’s Intervention

Qian Renxue spends years impersonating Crown Prince Xue Qinghe to secure the Heaven Dou Empire for Spirit Hall. Maintaining the disguise prevents her from openly using her Six-Winged Angel martial soul and consumes time she could otherwise devote to cultivation 4.

Despite cultivating tirelessly, she receives disgust and physical punishment from her mother, Bibi Dong. Qian Daoliu intervenes when Bibi Dong slaps her twice in the Pope’s Hall, protects her, and accepts her as his first direct disciple. Previously, he had treated her injuries and comforted her afterward without directly confronting her mother 1 2.

Qian Daoliu cancels the infiltration assignment, arguing that her own strength matters more than borrowed imperial authority. After learning that his accumulated injuries have shortened his remaining life, Qian Renxue vows to become the continent’s strongest Soul Master 4.

Cultivation and Slaughter City

Her training takes her through Heaven Dou City, the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, and the Star Dou Great Forest. Medicinal resources, whale rubber, and the Titan Giant Ape’s soul ring greatly strengthen her body before Qian Daoliu sends her to Slaughter City for practical combat experience 10 17 24 32.

Inside Slaughter City, she refuses Yellow Springs Dew and learns to fight without normal access to Soul Skills. Repeated arena battles refine her observation, efficiency, and swordsmanship. She completes Hell Road without using the jade pendant that could summon her grandfather’s help 33 34.

Upon returning to Spirit Hall, she openly tells Bibi Dong that she no longer needs her approval. She witnesses Qian Daoliu defeat her mother and transfer Spirit Hall’s administration to the Worship Hall 38.

Imperial Accession and Tournament Championship

Qian Daoliu brings her back to the Heaven Dou palace, kills Xue Ye, and compels the ministers to recognize her accession. She rules under the name Xue Qinghe and declares the beginning of the Angel Era 39 40.

She subsequently enters the Soul Master Tournament with the Heaven Dou Royal Academy Second Team, concealing her imperial identity and presenting her martial soul as a Light Swan. Her initial target is Shrek Academy, particularly Tang San, whose unusual opportunities Qian Daoliu has warned her about 45.

After defeating the Heaven Dou Division’s rival academies, she wins its championship and travels to Spirit City for the grand finals. Her team ultimately wins the tournament, with Qian Renxue stating that she fought alone 47 48 50.

Angel Godhood and the Divine Kingdom

The Angel God Trials test her endurance, combat judgment, swordsmanship, and willingness to advance without outside intervention. During the Eighth Trial, she refuses to accept Qian Daoliu’s concession in a swordsmanship exchange as sufficient and demands another contest with their martial souls released. Her subsequent victory completes the trial 51 52 54 62 63.

At the final inheritance, she rejects the demand to abandon mortal attachments. She insists that her grandfather, Liu Erlong, and the people she wishes to protect are part of the reason she cultivated. The godhood accepts her decision, and she becomes the Angel God 64.

In a later palace confrontation, she personally kills Xue Ye and demands submission to herself rather than merely to Spirit Hall. Her affection for her grandfather coexists with a strong desire for independence in battle. She wants to stand beside him rather than hide behind him, completes Hell Road without calling for rescue, and insists on testing herself against his released martial soul 34 39 62.

She is ruthless when she considers violence necessary, refusing surrender in the killing arena and destroying opponents’ Soul Rings during the Shrek match. Nevertheless, the aftermath of the Clear Sky Sect’s destruction troubles her enough that she asks not to dwell on the dead 34 45 72.
