Background

Yu Xiaogang's inherited past includes traveling the continent with Flender and Liu Erlong as the Golden Iron Triangle, a relationship with Bibi Dong, and expulsion from the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan. His inability to progress beyond rank twenty-nine earned him contempt within the clan, while his father, Yu Yuanzhen, also endured criticism because of him 7 30 35 41.

His Blue Star self transmigrated while rereading the Douluo Continent manga after learning that Mr. Mu would no longer illustrate it. He entered a world resembling the manga rather than the original novel. Over nearly three years, his soul and the original Yu Xiaogang's soul fused completely, leaving him with both sets of memories as his own past and present lives 1.

He remained at Nuoding Academy while waiting for Tang San, whose potential could activate his God-Level Disciple-Accepting System. During that period, he taught, researched martial souls, and published theories that attracted Spirit Hall's attention 1.

He teaches without withholding knowledge, but expects sustained effort. His protectiveness does not depend on a disciple's species or background.
