In the days that followed, Lin En's life settled into something close to peace.
Apart from a little kitty sneaking into his room every night for a forbidden taste, hardly anyone visited.
Lin En had originally thought that after Teacher Susu had gotten a taste, she would soon come knocking, just like Zhu Zhuqing.
Yet so many days had passed without her coming. Lin En guessed that she had begun trying to break through in seclusion after returning.
That was why she had not come to disturb her.
Still, counting the days, the boost from the life force should be wearing off soon. Perhaps Teacher Susu would come knocking on her own before long?
A mysterious smile appeared on Lin En's face.
This stuff was just like catnip. Little kitty Zhu Zhuqing had practically gotten addicted to it!

The knock on Lin En's door came right on schedule.
He opened the door, and sure enough, Zhu Zhuqing stood outside. Only then did a bright smile appear on her face.
Lin En looked at her helplessly. "Say, is it really all right for a girl like you to come running to my house every day?"
"It used to be once a week, and now it's almost once a day. Even a donkey shouldn't be worked like this!"
Zhu Zhuqing looked a little embarrassed. All this time, she had only cared about her own pleasure and had never considered that.
"Then how about I come every other day?"
Zhu Zhuqing's cheeks reddened slightly. After experiencing that heavenly bliss, every day away left her feeling as though cat claws were scratching at her heart.
She simply could not stop even if she wanted to!
"How about once a week? At least let me rest for a few days?"
