Mercenary Work and Zhu Zhuqing

After graduation, Lin En returns to mercenary work to fund further schooling. He deliberately joins predatory groups, waits for them to attack him, and takes their valuables after killing them. The resulting “Mercenary Killer” reputation makes further infiltration difficult 12 13.

He subsequently intervenes in Zhu Zhuqing’s pursuit, repeatedly charges both sides, and eventually has Sageross kill her pursuers. Lin En steals Ah Yin and the Blue Silver Emperor Right Leg Bone from the waterfall cave near Holy Soul Village. Seeking institutional backing without exposing Zhu Zhuqing’s sensitive identity at Heaven Dou Royal Academy, he challenges the Four Elements academies. He postpones accepting Godwind Academy’s generous offer and ultimately joins Skywater Academy alongside her 37 40 43.

Skywater Captain

Appointed captain of a twelve-person soul-hunting squad, Lin En leads Skywater students through the Star Dou Great Forest. The expedition brings another confrontation with Shrek, the rescue of Ning Rongrong, and the defeat of the Giant Swamp Crocodile King. He helps the students obtain their rings but refuses recruitment into the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect 46 47 49 52 55 56.
