Army General Miller took the elevator straight down to Level 26. He needed to gather his troops before he had the leverage to speak with the elite warrior unit on Level 33.

But to his surprise, the moment he reached Level 26, he ran head-on into the 2603 Guard Unit. The guard commander asked in astonishment, "General, why did you come down personally?"

"I was about to ask you that. Didn't you need reinforcements?" Miller asked, equally surprised.

The guard commander said gravely, "We had no other options, so we charged the garrison. We never expected to break through the 2601 Unit's defensive line so quickly."

"What about you, General?"

Miller laughed several times. "Me? I came to reinforce you."

"Just you?" The guard commander looked back at the soldiers behind him and asked hesitantly.

The general nodded. "That's right. Just me."

"Come on. Follow me to Level 33 and execute the Law-Ruler!"

The soldiers behind him shouted in unison, "Yes! Execute the Law-Ruler!"

The elevator indicator pointed to "-33." Fully armed elite troops and warrior units stood ready behind makeshift barricades and cover. Their guns were uniformly aimed at the elevator exit.

The elevator doors from Level 26 to Level 33 slowly opened. At the front stood an elderly man in his sixties or seventies, yet still full of vigor. The rank on his uniform and the medals on his chest reminded everyone present that he was a general with an illustrious record.

The general spread his hands to show that he meant no harm, though the rebels behind him still held their guns. He took several steps forward and shouted to the troops waiting ahead, "Don't shoot! We won't hurt you!"

The garrison soldiers exchanged glances, but showed no intention of lowering their weapons. Their commander shouted back,
