Background / History

Mei was already a prominent Fire Moth scientist when she met Qin Su, then posing as a Mu Continent researcher named John Connor. Kevin introduced the two at Fire Moth's largest research center, after which she joined Kevin and Qin Su for dinner. 13

During a Law-Ruler attack at the restaurant, Mei warned Kevin not to act recklessly around civilians and redirected him to prioritize the wider outbreak. After Qin Su's apparent self-destruction, she personally analyzed recovered metal fragments and concluded that John Connor was likely a robot—or possibly a human consciousness projected into a mechanical body. 14 15

Mei later became Fire Moth's principal contact with Qin Su and Skynet. She granted blueprints in exchange for material support for the Spark Project, negotiated the rescue of experimental personnel in Australia, and arranged for Skynet to receive Tenth Law-Ruler Cores. 29 30

After accepting Qin Su's proposed method for defeating the Eleventh Law-Ruler, Mei directed Fusion Warriors to evacuate civilians rather than confront the disaster directly. 34 37 Following the Eleventh Honkai, she granted Qin Su control authority over the Mars forward station RS-1. 43
