Zi JI belongs to the Hell Demon Dragon lineage and lives in the Star Dou Great Forest. Wang Qiu’er regards her as a trusted elder and calls her “Aunt Zi JI,” choosing her as a more approachable relative than Di Tian when arranging Luo Feng’s first visit to the family 9.

Although she has lived for more than two hundred thousand years, Zi JI has no prior romantic experience when she becomes involved with Luo Feng. Her ancestor’s Dragon Soul remains in Dragon Valley, where she can recognize its call through their shared bloodline 12 17.

Personality

Zi JI is fiercely protective of Wang Qiu’er and initially treats Luo Feng’s relationship with the Auspicious Beast as an offense against the Dragon Clan. She attacks before hearing his explanation and continues despite recognizing several Dragon King auras in his abilities. Her reverence for her ancestors proves stronger than her anger: an ancestral roar immediately calms her after she enters Dragon Valley 11 12.

Once she accepts Luo Feng, her hostility becomes open affection and loyalty. She apologizes for misjudging him, shields him from Di Tian, and places herself at risk to stabilize his cultivation. Around Luo Feng she can be shy and tender, while remaining threatening toward enemies and outsiders 12 13 19 23.

She is perceptive about other people’s feelings despite her own romantic inexperience.
