Qian Chenyue unleashed her Death Divine Kingdom, and Feathers of Death drained the life from the Heaven Dou Continent. The Shrek Seven Devils attacked her, but she overwhelmed them and grievously wounded Tang Wulin when he shielded Xu Xiaoyan.

Tang Wulin survived the catastrophe but, severely injured and rescued by a merchant ship, feigned submission to its possessive steward as the ship neared the Douluo Continent.

• Qian Chenyue cursed the Heaven Dou natives, binding their bloodlines so she could detect them if they entered the Douluo Continent.
• Kailuolun watched his destroyed homeland from a passenger ship, collapsed on the deck, and sobbed over his weakness and loss.
• Tang Wulin awoke aboard a merchant ship after its crew rescued him from the sea, and mourned his fallen Shrek companions.
• The ship's steward claimed Tang Wulin as his own and threatened to take him as a concubine when they reached port.

After a century spent at sea, Kailuolun reached the Quasi-God Realm and completed his God-Slaying Soul Tool design. He set out for the Douluo Continent, vowing to confront Qian Chenyue and avenge Heaven Dou.

The twelve divine heralds held the Sun Moon Federation’s fronts against the Abyss invasion with their powers. At a secondary battlefield, Yi Zichen rallied defenders and unleashed his Quasi-God domain to stop the monsters, though the battle remained ongoing.

• Qiangu Qingfeng, Yuanen Zhentian, Yuanen Tiandang, and Han Tianyi used their divine powers to defend Mingdu, the eastern plains, and Shrek City while coordinating against the Abyss forces.
• Qian Chenyue guarded the main Abyss rift at Heaven Dou City, while Leng Yaozhu and Leng Yulai purged monsters from the ruined city with their phoenix flames.

Yi Zichen was overwhelmed by an Abyssal Lord and dragged through the Abyss Passage, where he discovered that the Abyssal Sage King was his master, Qian Gu Fenfeng. He confronted Qian Gu Fenfeng in shock and demanded to know why he had caused the abyssal invasion.

• Yi Zichen fought the abyssal monsters until an Abyssal Lord shattered his Earth Shield and sent him flying toward the Abyss Passage.
• The passage pulled Yi Zichen into the Abyss Plane, where he landed amid the corrosive Abyssal Baleful Qi.
• Yi Zichen saw the Abyssal Sage King standing above the Abyssal Hall and watched him remove his bone mask.
