Ch. 81Qian Renxue's fury: killing with a borrowed blade

Tang Mo uncovered Prince Xue Xing’s role in Ge Yi’s scheme and sent Qian Renxue a plan to use the prince as a scapegoat. As Qian Renxue set the plan in motion, Prince Xue Xing remained unaware and met with Xue Beng, who secretly feared Xue Qinghe had been replaced.

  • Tang Mo deduced that Prince Xue Xing backed Ge Yi and had sought to turn Tang Mo against the Heaven Dou Empire while sowing distrust between Xue Qinghe and Ge Long.
  • Tang Mo sent Qian Renxue a letter proposing that Xue Ye’s other children be poisoned and Prince Xue Xing framed for the deaths.

  • The Pufferfish Soul Douluo arrested Prince Xue Xing and escorted him to the Heavenly Prison after the deaths of three princes.
  • Xue Beng realized the murders could make Xue Ye suspect that he and Xue Xing had conspired, so he rode to the palace to plead his case.
  • Xue Ye ordered Xue Beng placed under house arrest and stripped Xue Xing of his princely title, stipend, and freedom.
  • Ci Xue intercepted the Pufferfish Soul Douluo in Heaven Dou City and revealed himself as a Titled Douluo with a Blood-Piercing Pufferfish martial soul.

  • Tang Mo told Yue Guan that he planned to destroy the Sea Dragon Sect as a signal to the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, then gave him a bronze bell to test.
  • Yue Guan rang the Soul-Shaking Bell, briefly affecting Gui Mei before the bell shattered, and learned that Tang Mo could craft more of the single-use artifacts.
  • Tang Mo showed Yue Guan Soul-Shaking Bells, Coin Swords, and Immortal-Binding Ropes, explaining that he intended to use them against Tang Hao after testing them on the Sea Dragon Sect.

  • Yue Guan's Soul-Shaking Bell knocked Gu Rong out of his spatial interlayer, and Yue Guan struck him with Sword Qi before binding his Bone Dragon form with the rope.
  • After the rope turned to ash and freed him, Gu Rong asked what the items were and suspected Tang Mo had made them.
  • Tang Mo explained that the items' effects depended on the user's strength, and Gu Rong decided to take them all and charge Ning Fengzhi's Unlimited Gold Card.
