Tang San and Xiao Wu arrived outside the town.
"Third Brother, are we really not going to ask someone where the Wind Wolves are?"
Tang San shook his head. "No. I'll practice Blue Silver Grass's sensory abilities. We can find them ourselves."
As he spoke, several strands of Blue Silver Grass attached themselves to his ears, swaying with his movements.
When Xiao Wu saw them, she said, "Haha, Third Brother, you've grown a pair of rabbit ears!"
Tang San was just about to deny it when he remembered that Xiao Wu was a Soft Bone Rabbit who had taken human form. "Haha, have I?"
As he spoke, he even lowered his head and rubbed his "rabbit ears" against Xiao Wu, making her burst out laughing.
Then Tang San closed his eyes and walked forward using only Blue Silver Grass's senses. "Xiao Wu, don't worry about me. I'm practicing-"
Clang!
Tang San tripped over a stone beside the road and fell face-first onto the ground. A large lump quickly swelled on his forehead.
"Third Brother, you were the one who told me not to worry about you." Xiao Wu covered her mouth and snickered.
Tang San turned to glare at Xiao Wu. Looking at the lump on his forehead, she stopped trying to hide her laughter and laughed outright.
Tang San shook his head helplessly, but continued practicing.
Once he concentrated, he quickly got into the rhythm. Blue Silver Grass's perspective differed from his own vision. What it perceived were patches of life energy, along with its own sensations of the wind and the earth.
From this perspective, the ground gave off an extremely faint glow, while Xiao Wu was a human-shaped outline shimmering with pale white light. Tang San noticed her reaching out to poke him, chuckled, and easily dodged.
