Background / History
Blue Star’s Collapse
Qiang Wei is Du Kao’s daughter and a Super Soldier Squad member. After her father’s death, the collapse of military communications leaves Blue Star’s defenders isolated. She assumes responsibility for gathering remaining forces, rescuing civilians, and leading survivors through North City while the Demon Legion occupies much of the planet. 20 21
Before her disappearance, she had taught fellow Super Soldier Squad members—including Liu Chuang—micro wormhole transportation technology. 59
Meeting Liang Bing
While leading survivors, Qiang Wei encounters the woman calling herself Liang Bing. Instinctively wary of Liang Bing’s unusual strength and demeanor, Qiang Wei nevertheless keeps her close rather than allowing a potentially dangerous unknown to roam freely. Their journey is marked by arguments, mutual suspicion, and Liang Bing’s persistent attempts at intimacy. 20 45
Qiang Wei later tests Liang Bing by deliberately placing herself in apparent danger, forcing Liang Bing to reveal white Angel Wings. She correctly deduces that Liang Bing is connected to the old Heavenly Court and comes close to identifying her as Morgana. 46 47
While searching for Di Leina, Qiang Wei reacts quickly to an unknown energy attack, but the attack bypasses her normal analysis and micro-wormhole systems. She is temporarily incapacitated without visible external injury. 47
Captivity and Demon Conversion
Liang Bing eventually reveals herself as Morgana and renders Qiang Wei unconscious, taking her away from Blue Star. Qiang Wei awakens roughly a month later in Morgana’s custody, immediately assessing her surroundings and demanding to know Morgana’s intentions. 66 75 76
Initially driven by hatred for the Demon Legion and a desire to kill Morgana, Qiang Wei struggles when Morgana challenges her assumptions about Blue Star’s invasion and offers herself as a target. Her certainty gradually weakens, though she remains distrustful of Morgana’s motives. 81
Morgana offers Qiang Wei a path toward a Fourth Generation Divine Body, but makes Demon conversion a condition. Qiang Wei agrees only after Morgana swears a God’s Oath not to tamper with her mind or body, accepting the sacrifice because she believes Blue Star needs her strength. 86 Her transformation gives her Demon genes and black Wings of Corruption, without the compulsory loyalty imprint imposed on ordinary Demon converts. 95
Meru Heavenly Court and the Yu Qin Incident
Qiang Wei agrees to help Morgana reclaim Meru Heavenly Court in exchange for the Demon Legion’s withdrawal from Blue Star. She frames the decision as a duty to Blue Star rather than loyalty to Morgana. 96
After Yu Qin is abducted from Blue Star, the Super Soldier Squad receives Qiang Wei’s delayed farewell letter, leading Ge Xiaolun to believe she defected and kidnapped Yu Qin herself. In fact, Karl had intercepted Qiang Wei’s original message, and Sino planted the letter after carrying out Yu Qin’s abduction, deliberately creating that impression. 113
Qiang Wei later accompanies Morgana and Yan in confronting the Abyssal Maw, using her wormhole expertise to attempt an attack with Yan’s Silver Blade. 131
Appearance
Qiang Wei is described as possessing a heroic, cold beauty. Following her Demon conversion, she retains her appearance while gaining black wings identical in form to Morgana’s Wings of Corruption. 61 95 113
- Often carries herself with military alertness and a guarded posture. 75 86
- Has a “heroic face” and a cold, beautiful demeanor. 61 113
- Manifested black Demon wings after accepting Demon genes. 95
- Previously used a motorcycle stored in micro wormhole space while traveling with Liang Bing. 45 46
Personality
Qiang Wei is disciplined, duty-driven, and protective of Blue Star. Even after losing her father and being cut off from military communications, she prioritizes civilians and surviving soldiers over her own grief. 20
She is highly suspicious of deception and quick to analyze inconsistencies. Her test of Liang Bing’s identity and her immediate alertness upon awakening in captivity reflect both her military instincts and refusal to be manipulated easily. 46 75
Her hatred of the Demons is genuine, but not immutable. Morgana’s arguments regarding the Demon Legion, Blue Star’s vulnerability, and the nature of inter-civilization conflict force Qiang Wei to question her previously absolute view. She ultimately chooses Demon power as a means to defend Blue Star, while continuing to insist that she is not acting for Morgana’s sake. 65 86 96
