The order to clear the field, the yanderes' brutal hunt
The rainy night was bitterly cold. Lynn stood in the mud, casually pulling at the Sabretooth's tattered coat, slowly wiping the sticky flesh and blood from between his fingers. The thick, pungent smell of blood mixed with the stench of the sewers, washed away by the rain, became even more acrid, piercing straight into one's nostrils.
He glanced down at Natasha. The woman still had Adamantium claw protruding from her abdomen, blood staining the puddle beneath her, and her face was as pale as a sheet. But her eyes, fixed on him like two raging wildfires, were piercingly fixed on him, radiating a morbid satisfaction.
"Keep an eye on her," Lynn said to the air beside her, her voice icy cold.
"Yes, sir." A ripple appeared in the air, and a Silk shot out silently, precisely wrapping around Natasha's wound and forcefully tightening to stop the bleeding. Gwen Stacy hung upside down from a ten-meter-high scrap steel frame, her Ghost-Spider Suit almost blindingly white in the dark rainy night. Beneath her mask, her eyes were obsessive yet tinged with a hint of smug satisfaction, her gaze never leaving Lynn for a second.
In the distance, Toad, Arclight, and other surviving low-level Mutants scattered in the mud, tumbling and crawling like a group of terrified sewer rats, desperately fleeing towards the darkness at the edge of the ruins.
"Did I allow this garbage to dirty my property and then just walk away?"
Lynn casually tossed aside the bloodstained rag in his hand, his dark eyes sweeping across the rain. The Super-Soldier Serum within him was still surging, the lingering violent energy of crushing metal with his bare hands still pulsating within his muscle fibers.
The order to clear the area has been issued.
"Leave no one alive. Whoever kills the most gets to stay on the top floor tonight."
Lynn threw out a bait that was enough to drive these women completely mad. He knew all too well how to manipulate these Yandere who stood at the top of the power structure; with just a glance and a vague promise, he could turn them into the sharpest butcher's knife.
The moment the words left his mouth, the temperature in the air plummeted to freezing.
"They're mine!" Wanda's eyes flashed Scarlet, and a violent surge of Chaos Magic erupted around her, creating a whirlwind that repelled the torrential rain by three meters. Why should she give up her place next to Lynn to someone else? These filthy Mutants, they all must die!
"You're too slow, old woman." Gwen Stacy sneered, her legs slamming against the steel frame, her entire body transforming into a white blur, tearing through the rain. As a shadow assassin, she had to prove to Lynn that she was the most obedient and deadliest blade.
"No one is leaving these ruins without my permission!" Susan retorted defiantly. She desperately needed to prove her worth to this man. The Fantastic Four was a thing of the past; now, she belonged only to Lynn.
A hint of extreme coldness flashed in Susan's blue eyes, and she suddenly raised her hands upwards.
"Buzz--"
A massive, Invisible Force Field, imperceptible to the naked eye, expanded outwards by 500 meters from the ruins, forming an inverted, gigantic, high-pressure hemisphere that completely enveloped all the fleeing Mutants.
Arclight was the fastest runner. Her signature Quake ability became the best road clearing machine during her escape, shattering abandoned containers along the way. Once she got past the barbed wire fence ahead, she could slip into the dark alleys of the slums.
"Bang!"
Arclight crashed headfirst into an invisible wall. The immense recoil instantly broke her nose, and blood gushed out.
"What is that?!" Arclight covered her face and retreated in terror. She raised her hands and unleashed a powerful Quake at the air in front of her, trying to blast a path through the air.
The Force Field remained completely still.
"It can't be opened." A cold female voice came from above.
Arclight looked up abruptly, and before she could see clearly, two high-voltage Silk shot out like venomous snakes, precisely wrapping around her wrists.
"Since you like vibrations..." Gwen Stacy hung upside down from the top of the container, a cruel smile playing on her lips beneath her mask. She lightly pressed a fingertip on the Silk -shooter.
Over 100,000 volts of Bioelectric Charge flowed instantly into Arclight's body along the Silk.
"Ughhhhhh--!" Arclight convulsed violently, her eyes rolled back, and charred smoke rose from her skin. In less than three seconds, her internal organs were completely Carbonization, and she slammed into the muddy water like a piece of charred charcoal, shattering into pieces.
Gwen Stacy landed lightly, crushing the remnants of the Arclight under her foot. She turned to look in Lynn's direction, tilting her head slightly, like a cat carrying a dead mouse to its owner for a pat.
"All you can do is play these petty tricks." Wanda hovered in mid-air, looking down at Gwen Stacy's actions, and sneered.
She pressed her hands down sharply.
The Scarlet Chaos Magic transformed into a devastating storm, sweeping directly across the eastern side of the ruins. There, three speed Mutants were attempting to escape through the drainpipes.
There were no screams, no struggles.
As the red light swept across, the soil, steel bars, and even the three living human bodies were instantly wiped out at the molecular level. Only a huge, semi-circular crater, several meters deep with smooth, mirror-like edges, remained on the ground.
Wanda turned her head, her Scarlet eyes fixed on Lynn, her gaze filled with a morbid obsession and pleading. She was waiting for Lynn's praise.
Lynn stood there, hands in the pockets of his black trench coat, a satisfied smile playing on his lips. He nodded slightly.
This tiny gesture instantly ignited Susan's jealousy.
"Master, I will prove to you that I am the most efficient." Susan's voice echoed in the rainy night, tinged with an urgent desire to please.
She clasped her hands together abruptly.
The enormous, invisible hemisphere that loomed over the ruins began to shrink inward at a terrifying speed.
"Help! Help me!"
"My leg! My leg is trapped!"
The remaining seven or eight Mutants were herded into the center of the ruins like ducks by the ever-approaching invisible wall. The Force Field's contraction did not stop; instead, it accelerated.
"Pfft!"
A Mutants with enhanced skeletons tried to withstand the Force Field, but the moment his hands touched the invisible barrier, they were crushed by the terrifying pressure. Then his torso and head followed, and his entire body exploded into a cloud of blood mist like a tomato being put into a hydraulic press.
Susan watched the scene unfold like a human juicer with a blank expression. Her blue eyes held no pity, only an endless fervor for Lynn. She even deliberately manipulated her Force Field to avoid Lynn's area, ensuring that not a single drop of blood would splatter onto his trench coat.
Lynn watched coldly as this one-sided Carnage unfolded.
Screams echoed as severed limbs and entrails spilled in the rain. Stryker's meticulously crafted killing machines were as fragile as paper before the Dimensionality-Reduction Strike of Skyfather-level powerhouse.
Lynn knew perfectly well that the three women's current madness was entirely based on their extreme possessiveness towards him. They weren't fighting an enemy; they were vying for mating rights and territory. This sense of power, walking on a knife's edge, greatly satisfied his desire for control.
Was Nick Fury trying to test him with such underhanded tactics? Was he trying to use Mutants to wear down his trump cards?
He then threw the pieces of meat from the Beast back at the old blind man's face, intact.
At the edge of the ruins, a hidden sewer outlet.
The Toad lay in the foul-smelling sewage, its body covered in green slime. Its bulging eyes were fixed on the horrific scene outside, and its heart was pounding so hard it felt like it would burst out of its chest.
This is horrifying. This isn't a fight; it's a one-sided execution!
Taking advantage of the moment Susan contracted her Force Field, he used his ability to secrete highly corrosive mucus to melt a hole in the sewer's iron grate and desperately squeezed in.
"I survived... I survived..." The Toad gasped for breath, spewing out foul-smelling white mist from its mouth.
He scrambled down the sewers, using both hands and feet, desperately trying to reach the depths. If he could bring back footage of this place to General Stryker, he could get a large sum of money and finally leave this hellhole.
Where are you planning to climb to?
A chilling voice suddenly echoed in the dark sewers.
The Toad froze, its scalp instantly flaring up.
He suddenly raised his head.
Gwen Stacy hung upside down from the top of the sewer, her white mask like a deadly grim reaper in the darkness. Two high-pressure Silk shot out instantly, tightly binding the Toad's ankles and suspending him in mid-air.
"No! Let me go! Don't kill me!" The Toad struggled frantically, gurgling in its throat as it tried to spit out corrosive slime.
"Shh." Gwen Stacy held a finger to her lips near the mask, her voice so soft it was chilling. "Master said, leave no one alive. You're too noisy; you'll upset him."
Gwen Stacy flicked her wrist, Silk tightened abruptly.
"Snap!"
The Toad's ankle bones snapped instantly. He opened his mouth wide, about to let out a piercing scream.
In those final moments, a desperate madness flashed in the Toad's bulging eyes. He suddenly bit open a tiny capsule hidden beneath his tongue.
It was a military-grade miniature communication and image transmitter.
"Drop--"
A very faint electronic buzzing sounded from inside the Toad's mouth.
The next second, Gwen Stacy's Silk Dagger pierced his throat with pinpoint accuracy, severing all his voice and life force.
The Toad's corpse hung in mid-air like a tattered sack, its dark red blood dripping down the Silk into the sewage.
Gwen Stacy pulled out the dagger, disgustedly flicked away the blood, and turned to rush out of the sewer. She couldn't wait to get back to Lynn and demand her reward.
Unbeknownst to her, the tiny Communicator inside the Toad's mouth, which had been crushed, was flashing a faint red light, transmitting the final, frozen image.
Deep underground at the Pentagon, hundreds of kilometers away.
William Stryker sat in the leather chair in the Main Control Room, the coffee cup in his hand trembling violently, the brown liquid spilling onto the leg of his military trousers.
On the big screen, the final few seconds of the Toad's last moments, before it died, were frozen in time.
The Sabretooth being slowly tortured to death, the Arclight being Carbonization, the Brotherhood of Mutants being crushed into mincemeat by the Force Field, and the young man standing in the center of the ruins, wearing a black trench coat and with eyes as cold as Deity.
Stryker's face turned deathly pale, and cold sweat instantly soaked his back. He stared at the man on the screen, surrounded by three terrifying Witch, and his breath caught in his throat.
