Lynn leaned back in the solid wood chair, his fingertips casually tracing the rim of a wine glass. The lingering Romanée-Conti at the bottom of the glass emitted a slightly sour, fruity aroma, which mingled with the smell of gunpowder blowing in from outside the window, creating a strange olfactory experience.

The Holographic Screens floated in mid-air, emitting a cold blue light. On the screen, the Energy-Concentrating Cannon the chests of the three Sentry were already at their maximum brightness, and the blinding red light almost pierced through the screen, stinging his retina.

But Lynn didn't even blink.

Because the night sky in the very center of the screen was like a tattered cloth that had been violently crumpled, torn into countless dense, dark blue folds.

The spatial rift opened silently.

Susan Stone stepped directly out of the void, hovering precisely above the Stark Shares Building. She wasn't wearing her signature blue bodysuit, but rather a large black shirt by Lynn, the hem barely covering her thighs. The wind tousled her blonde hair, but her deep blue eyes burned with an almost morbid fanaticism.

"Ten points, I got it."

Susan's red lips parted slightly. There was no sound on the communication channel, but Lynn understood her meaning through lip reading. She even gave Lynn a very provocative look through the Surveillance Camera on the screen.

Lynn picked up his glass, swallowed the slightly sour red wine, and his Adam's apple bobbed.

This woman gets into character quickly. For that "bedroom ticket" tonight, the once aloof and Invisible Woman is now like a Doberman eager to beg its owner for a bone.

On the screen, Susan looked away, then suddenly spread her right hand and pressed it towards the Sentry with the number "01" at the front.

Buzz--

There was no earth-shattering explosion, nor any dazzling magical light and shadow. Lynn only saw the steel Beast, ten meters tall and equipped with the military's most advanced alloy armor, suddenly freeze in mid-air.

Immediately afterwards, the destructive beam of light about to erupt from the Sentry's chest was as if it had been tightly covered by an invisible giant hand. The special armor around the muzzle could not withstand the violent expansion of the high-energy particles inside and dented inwards severely.

"Bang!"

A muffled explosion rang out. The Energy-Concentrating Cannon detonated inside the Sentry's chest cavity. Thick plumes of black smoke billowed out through the gaps in the armor, but were immediately suppressed within a half-meter radius by an invisible barrier.

But this is just the beginning.

Susan flipped her wrist, her fair fingers slowly drawing inward.

Lynn stared at the screen, his fingers tapping a steady rhythm on the table. On the screen, the Sentry, which was said to be able to withstand the direct bombardment of Main Battle Tank, now looked like a fragile soda can.

Its two massive mechanical arms were snapped backward by an invisible force, and the thick hydraulic rods broke off one by one, splattering large clumps of black engine oil. But not a single drop of this viscous liquid fell onto the building below— Susan had used an Invisible Force Field to completely envelop the entire battlefield, perfectly implementing Lynn's rule of "no damage to the building."

The cracking sound of steel bars being snapped pierced Lynn's eardrums through the communication frequency. The Sentry's neck armor was forcibly twisted, and the inverted triangular mechanical head was rotated 360 degrees, its red electronic eyes flashing wildly and emitting a shrill system alarm.

"The Underlying Logic is quite stubborn." Lynn chuckled, looking at the red warning codes that kept flashing on the screen.

He could almost picture Stryker, deep in the Pentagon's underground bunker, watching the monitor screen with a fascinating expression. The ultimate weapon that old man had emptied his coffers to create was utterly useless against a true Dimensionality-Reduction Strike.

Faced with a molecular-level Invisible Force Field, simple physical defense is a complete joke.

On the screen, Susan's eyes were as cold as ice. She seemed disgusted that this piece of junk had wasted too much of her time, and her fingers clenched into a fist.

Boom!

The massive, ten-meter-tall body was forcibly compressed in a fraction of a second. The indestructible Special Alloy, the intricate wiring, and the high-energy power furnace were all kneaded together by that brute Force Field.

Sparks flew and electric arcs flashed wildly.

In the blink of an eye, the once imposing Sentry had been compressed into a solid metal sphere less than two meters in diameter. The core power reactor was completely shut down, and not a single trace of heat could escape.

With a casual wave of her hand, Susan sent the metal ball, weighing tens of tons, hurtling like a cannonball into an abandoned construction site a few blocks away, creating a bottomless crater.

"Well done." Lynn leaned back in his chair, his fingers ceasing their tapping. "Thumbs up."

Susan's first kill was so fast it was impossible to react. From the moment she appeared across space to the Sentry turning into a pile of scrap metal, the whole thing took less than five seconds.

The remaining two Sentry ' Source Code instantly went into a frenzy of computation. Faced with this attack that completely defied the laws of physics, Trask Industries ' masterpiece finally revealed its trump card against superhumans.

Sentry number "02" quickly retreated to create distance, the red light in its mechanical eyes turning into a blinding blue. Accompanied by a dense electronic buzzing, an anti- Mutants shield composed of countless hexagonal energy networks rapidly appeared on its body.

This shield is specifically designed to absorb and deflect high-energy attacks, and is theoretically strong enough to withstand most supernatural forces. It even began analyzing Susan's Force Field frequency, attempting to neutralize it in the opposite direction.

Susan frowned slightly, preparing to increase the output power of the Force Field and secure the second kill.

But Lynn's gaze had already shifted away from the screen.

He turned his head and looked out the floor-to-ceiling window.

The faint smell of Ozone in the air had completely disappeared sometime ago. In its place was a strong, suffocating stench of blood.

The night sky outside the window was originally pitch black, obscured by dark clouds. But at this moment, the thick clouds seemed to have been ripped open with a huge wound.

Dark red light poured down from the gaps in the clouds, turning the entire Manhattan night sky a shocking blood red.

"A shield?" Lynn looked at the Sentry on the screen, which was shimmering with a ghostly blue light, and a pitying sneer curled at the corner of his mouth. "Stryker, you know nothing about true power."

A very sharp sonic boom came from the communication channel.

That was the shriek of pure killing intent and magical power rubbing against the air.

A Scarlet storm, with a ferocious force capable of wiping out everything, violently shattered the night sky.
