Energy clash, Lynn's physical transformation
A piercing red light from the system flashed wildly on Lynn's retina.
At the incision site on his left wrist, the originally dark red blood suddenly boiled, and a few strands of Dark Gold sparks flowed upwards along the veins, like a swarm of frenzied Army Ants, frantically gnawing at the fragile blood vessel walls.
"Ugh--" Lynn groaned, his back arching sharply.
This was no ordinary pain. It was a complete tearing apart at the molecular level. The Dark Phoenix Mark mixed in with the Omega Genes was not some inanimate object at all; it carried a violent will to destroy everything and tried to burn Lynn's carbon-based body to ashes.
Large beads of sweat mixed with seeping blood splattered onto the Titanium Alloy tabletop, splashing up bright red flowers of blood.
The Super-Soldier Serum and Spider Genes within the body sensed a deadly threat and instinctively launched a counterattack.
Muscle fibers expanded and contracted in an instant, and the friction of bones produced a crisp sound that sent chills down one's spine. Lynn's left arm swelled up to a size visible to the naked eye, and the veins bulged out of the skin like twisted black snakes.
Moreover, the Chaos Particles lurking deep within the cells were also thoroughly enraged by this foreign force. Scarlet magic pumped from the heart, rushing along the arteries, and collided directly with the Dark Gold flames in Lynn's chest cavity.
"Boom!"
A dull thud resounded from Lynn's chest.
He opened his mouth and vomited a large mouthful of black blood mixed with fragments of internal organs.
It was too violent. Four completely different top-level forces turned his body into an arena. One second, his cells were scorched by the Dark Phoenix's flames, the next second, new buds were forcibly generated by the Super-Soldier Serum, and then they were twisted into bizarre shapes by Chaos Magic.
The extreme pain blurred Lynn's vision, and all he could hear was the roaring sound of blood rushing through his ears.
But he didn't scream, nor did he loosen his grip on the control panel.
"Trying to devour me?" Lynn bit his lip, the strong taste of blood filling his mouth. He stared intently at the dark gold patterns spreading across his arm, his eyes gleaming with a ferocity more savage than Beast. "On my turf, even a god has to kneel and be my dog!"
He understood all too well the principle that one cannot be invincible without paying a price.
Those Yandere women outside, aren't they all monsters capable of destroying cities at the drop of a hat? If you want to trample them underfoot forever, if you want to survive the upcoming Multiverse war, cheating and deception will only win you temporarily.
He needs absolute strength.
And now, it is the best whetstone.
"System, turn off Pain Suppression!" Lynn roared in his mind.
[WARNING: Disabling Pain Suppression may cause the host to go into shock due to neural overload!]
"Turn it off!"
As soon as he finished speaking, a pain ten times more intense than before engulfed him like a tsunami. Lynn's pupils instantly shrank to pinpoints, and all the muscles in his body trembled violently from extreme spasms.
But he must remain absolutely clear-headed.
He took a deep breath of the cold air mixed with the smell of blood, forcibly separated a wisp of consciousness, and activated the SS -S-rank reward he had plundered from Susan — the Space Stitching Technique.
He used this technique before to stitch up Natasha's wounds, to mend the broken space.
Now, he will use it to suture his own cells.
Lynn closed his eyes, his consciousness sinking to the microscopic level.
He saw the Gene Chain tearing at each other. The Dark Gold Gene Chain were like red-hot irons, the spiral structure of the Super-Soldier Serum was like tough vines, the Spider Genes emitted a ghostly blue glow, and the Chaos Magic was an omnipresent Scarlet Mist.
"Match it!"
Lynn roared in his mind.
The invisible Spatial Force Field transformed into countless fine, almost imperceptible stitches, forcefully piercing into the raging energy.
The flesh on his left arm instantly exploded, spurting blood. But Lynn didn't even flinch. He manipulated the Space Stitching Threads, forcibly pulling over a section of Dark Gold Gene Chain and binding it tightly to the main body of the Super-Soldier Serum.
The rejection reaction erupted instantly.
Lynn's left arm bone snapped in two with a cracking sound. The broken bone pierced the skin and was exposed to the air, with Dark Gold flames flickering around the white bone fragments.
"Continue!"
The veins on Lynn's forehead throbbed as he gripped the broken bone in his left arm tightly with his right hand, forcibly pressing it back into place.
The Spatial Force Field tightened again.
Sew, tear, then sew again.
This was a form of torture akin to slow slicing. Lynn was like a mad tailor, threading needles through his own flesh. Each stitch was accompanied by the agonizing screams of nerves and the bursting of cells.
But the madness in his eyes grew stronger.
He could feel that as the stitching progressed, the unruly Dark Phoenix Mark began to yield. It was enveloped by the resilience of the Super-Soldier Serum, assimilated by the keenness of the Spider Genes, and finally completely suppressed by the inclusiveness of the Chaos Magic.
I don't know how much time passed.
It could be an hour, or it could be just a few minutes.
The air conditioning in the basement had been completely extinguished by the heat emanating from Lynn's body; the air was distorted and distorted, carrying a bitter smell of burnt flesh.
The last Space Stitching Threads tied a knot deep inside the cell.
The violent energy conflict came to an abrupt halt.
Lynn released his right hand from the control panel. The five-centimeter-thick Titanium Alloy surface had been crushed into a twisted lump of scrap metal by him.
He slumped against the cold Experiment Pod, his chest heaving, gasping for breath.
Sweat and blood pooled on the floor, forming a dark red puddle.
But he did not fall.
Lynn slowly lowered his head and looked at his left arm.
The previously torn flesh has completely healed without leaving a single scar. The skin color is even paler than before, but when the muscles are slightly tensed, a strange luster of dark gold and Scarlet intertwined flows beneath the skin.
He tried clenching his fist.
"Bang!"
The air in his palm was forcefully crushed, producing a muffled sonic boom. The powerful shockwave shattered a row of glass test tubes three meters away.
Lynn's lips slowly curled into a cold, extremely satisfied smile.
It was a success.
His physical strength and energy capacity have undergone an unprecedented and terrifying leap. Now, even without using chaos magic and invisibility fields, his physical body, which has fused multiple top-tier powers, is enough to tear apart a fully armed Chitauri Leviathan behemoth with his bare hands.
This is the real trump card.
Lynn straightened up, grabbed a white coat and draped it over his shoulders to cover the bloodstains all over his body.
He exhaled a breath of foul air, tinged with the smell of blood, and prepared to turn and leave the secret chamber.
However, at the very moment he completely relaxed his suppression of the energy within his body.
An extremely faint yet domineering ripple of energy spread outwards from him.
This is an inevitable phenomenon after the transformation is complete, like the first breath of Beast upon awakening.
The ripples penetrated the Alloy Wall of the basement and spread through the floors of the Baxter Building.
On the top floor, Wanda, who had been resting with her eyes closed, suddenly opened them. She sensed the fluctuation and, without hesitation, waved her hands, reinforcing the Crimson Barrier covering Manhattan to its limit, trying to trap this aura deep within the Earth.
The barrier of Chaos Magic blocked 99% of the fluctuations.
However, the power Lynn had just merged with contained the higher-dimensional characteristics of the Dark Phoenix.
That remaining one percent, like an invisible poison needle, silently pierced the Dimension Bastion of Earth.
It traversed the endless sea of stars, passed through the gaps in the Quantum Realm, and plunged straight into a Underground Abyss the sun never shines.
Asgard.
Deep, cold, damp Underground Abyss.
There was no light here, only endless stench and the chill of death. The ancient seal set by Odin quietly cracked open under the resonance of this energy that transcended Dimension.
In the darkness, a pair of eyes filled with the Aura of Death slowly opened.
