Dimensional Alert, the System's Red Light
Lynn stood in the center of the chaotic basement, draped in the blood-stained white lab coat. The dark gold and Scarlet luster beneath the skin of his left arm gradually faded, disappearing completely into the cold white texture. He slightly parted his chapped lips and exhaled a hot, stale breath.
The gust of air struck mid-air, tearing a visible white streak through the distorted air.
His heart pounded like a heavy pile driver, "thump, thump, thump," each pump of blood accompanied by a surging roar. Lynn looked down at his left hand. He walked to the Titanium Alloy control panel where he had pinched five holes in his fingers, placed his five fingers on the edge, and without exerting much force, simply bent it upwards.
"Click."
The five-centimeter-thick Special Alloy, like a damp biscuit, was casually broken off in large chunks. The heavy metal block slammed onto the floor with a dull thud.
Power. Absolutely pure, savage physical power.
The muscle fibers were bursting with explosive activity. The toughness of the Super-Soldier Serum, the agility of the Spider Genes, and the forcibly tamed Dark Phoenix flames were perfectly integrated into this carbon-based body. Lynn could feel that even without using any external force, he could punch through the load-bearing wall of Stark Tower with just this physical body.
He walked to the sink, turned on the tap, and tried to wash away the remaining blood on the back of his hand. The icy water hit his skin and was instantly evaporated into a white mist by the still-warm heat on his skin.
However, before he could fully appreciate this newfound power, a blinding crimson Scarlet suddenly exploded on his retina.
A red light, more intense than ever before, instantly filled his entire field of vision. This red light even carried a tangible burning sensation, causing a sharp pain in his optic nerve. Deep in his mind, the mechanical voice of the [Till Death Do Us Part Simulator] was no longer gentle, but instead carried a sharp and piercing noise, frantically scraping against his brainstem.
[WARNING! Deadly Crisis!]
Lynn's eye twitched suddenly, and he immediately brought up the System Panel.
The once semi-transparent interface was now a deep, almost dripping red. In the center of the interface, a three-dimensional sand table representing the current spacetime Anchor of the universe was flashing violently, covered with a dense web of spiderweb-like cracks.
Lynn stared intently at the cracks. The basement lights began to flicker unnaturally, emitting a hissing sound. This wasn't a problem with the power supply, but rather an extremely dangerous distortion of the surrounding spatial frequencies. A pungent smell of Ozone filled the air, mixed with the stench of blood on his body, assaulting his nostrils.
A faint rustling sound came from the lab table next to him. Lynn turned his head and saw that a row of sturdy, explosion-proof glass test tubes had silently turned into a pool of fine white powder without being subjected to any external physical force.
Collapse at the microscopic level of space.
On the System Panel, lines of blood-red characters scrolled rapidly, the blinding red light casting flickering shadows on Lynn's cold, stern face.
[Excessive concentration of top-tier energy has been detected on the host.]
[Chaos Magic (Extremely Active), Negative Zone Matrix (Continuous Extraction), Intercosmic Quantum Entanglement (Anchored Lock), Dark Phoenix Spiritual Imprint (Recently Merged)...]
[The current carrying capacity of a single universe has exceeded the safe threshold!]
Lynn's eyes turned completely cold. He knew all too well what was going on.
Wanda, that madwoman, could tear reality apart at any moment; she was currently setting up Crimson Barrier on the rooftop that enveloped Manhattan. Susan held endless energy in her hands, transforming the Baxter Building into an energy black hole. Gwen Stacy was an illegal immigrant from another universe, forcibly staying here through her own power. And then there was the Dark Phoenix flames she had just swallowed.
The fates of these women, like several thick Titanium Alloy cables, were tightly bound to him alone. He was like a gravitational center with severely overloaded mass, forcefully pushing the fragile container of Earth to the brink of explosion.
Keeping so many destructive Yandere around is like cramming four nuclear bombs into a small powder keg. And he himself is the sole detonator. Now, the outer shell of the powder keg can no longer withstand this terrifying pressure and has begun to crack.
[WARNING: Microscopic cracks have appeared in Earth's spacetime barrier!]
On the system sandbox, above the New York coordinates, a tiny yet extremely glaring black crack was visualized. The edges of the crack flickered with eerie blue arcs of electricity, like an unhealable gash that had been slashed open with a blade on a perfect oil painting.
Lynn's Spider-Sense instantly emitted an unprecedented shriek. The hairs on the back of his neck stood on end, and a chilling feeling of being watched by an unparalleled ferocious beast spread throughout his body.
But he didn't panic. He stared at the crack flashing red light, a dangerously cold smile curling at the corner of his mouth.
Spacetime repulsion? Cosmic annihilation? He had long anticipated this day. What he craved was the thrill of dancing on the edge of a cliff. He could even manipulate those crazy women upstairs; what was a mere crack in the barrier?
He raised his hand, his fingertips glowing with a Scarlet and dark gold light, preparing to use his system privileges to forcibly repair the crack with Space Stitching Technique.
But the next second, Lynn's cold smile froze.
He suddenly raised his head, his gaze piercing through the Titanium Alloy ceiling of the basement, directly targeting the crack marked in red by the system.
The temperature in the basement suddenly plummeted.
It wasn't the cooling from air conditioning, but a chilling cold that pierced to the bone and robbed all life. The warm breath Lynn exhaled instantly condensed into tiny black ice crystals the moment it left his lips, which then crackled and fell to the floor.
Through the magnified display on the System Panel, Lynn saw that deep within that tiny crack was not a vast starry sky at all, but a pitch-black Abyss where the sun never shines.
The stench. The extreme cold. And a haughty arrogance that regards all things as worthless.
A chilling, domineering spiritual tentacle, carrying a strong Aura of Death, silently probed in through the tiny crack.
Without searching around or hesitating, it was like an ancient beast that had smelled blood, instantly penetrating the layers of defense of the Baxter Building and heading straight for the third basement level.
Lynn has been identified.
