Crushing the Destruction Beam bare-handed: Lynn's dimensional suppression
The bright orange light stung my eyes.
Lynn's consciousness had just been violently slammed back into his body by the system, and his nasal cavity was instantly filled with a nauseating, burnt smell. It was the smell of proteins being forcibly Carbonization at thousands of degrees Celsius, mixed with the acrid odor of Ozone being torn apart.
A drop of scalding liquid hit his collarbone, causing a stinging pain in his skin.
Lynn lowered her head.
Gwen Stacy clung tightly to him. This Spider-Man, usually as agile as a ghost and always hanging upside down from the ceiling with its eerie antics, now resembled a moth thrown into a furnace.
The Black-and-White Suit on her back had long since been burned to ashes. Large patches of flesh had rolled and Carbonization under the high temperature, revealing the stark white shoulder blades beneath. There wasn't even any blood flowing from the wound, because the capillaries had been welded shut by the terrifying heat of the Destruction Beam the moment they burst.
Even so, she was still desperately squeezing out the last bit of Bioelectricity in her body, trying to create even the thinnest blue spider web above their heads.
"Lynn..."
Gwen Stacy buried her face in Lynn's neck, her voice hoarse like sandpaper. Her whole body was convulsing violently, but the arms around Lynn's neck were locked together like welded iron hoops, making Lynn's cervical vertebrae crack.
"Let's die together..."
Her gray-blue pupils were beginning to dilate, but the morbid obsession in her eyes burned to its extreme. Blood spilled from the corner of her mouth, smearing Lynn's face, yet she managed a strange and satisfied smile.
"Even if Hell... I'll keep you by my side... That old woman Wanda... can't take you away..."
Upon hearing this almost cursed declaration of love and suicide, Lynn's eyes suddenly erupted with a violent rage.
This Spider-Man would rather be roasted alive than let him die with it.
Crazy enough. Ruthless enough. And loyal enough.
But who is Lynn?
A Deity who treats gods like dogs and manipulates the top combatants of the Multiverse as chess pieces! The mad dogs he personally fed, even if they are to die, can only die under his command. A piece of junk dares to touch his private property right before his eyes?
Dream!
"Boom--!"
In mid-air, the Destroyer Armor's facial armor was fully exposed, and its core engine emitted a screeching sound as if it were about to collapse under the strain. The thickest and most violent beam of plasma, carrying terrifying kinetic energy capable of melting the earth's crust, slammed heavily into the ground.
A hundred meters away, Coulson was thrown off his feet by the scorching heatwave and slammed heavily into the armored vehicle. He stared in despair at the sand dunes swallowed by the intense light, knowing full well that neither the mysterious agent nor the girl who had risked her life to save him would leave behind even ashes.
Deprived of his divine powers, Thor knelt in the scorching sand, pounding his fists into the ground and letting out a humiliating roar.
Everyone thought it was all over.
Until a pure black suddenly tore through that dazzling orange-red without warning.
That wasn't an ordinary shadow; it was Death Energy so dense it could devour even light.
"Hiss hiss hiss--"
The Destruction Beam struck the black mist as if it had crashed into an Absolute Zero glacier. There was no explosion, no fire. The intense heat, enough to melt Uru Metal, was instantly Oblivion into nothingness upon contact with the Death Energy.
Lynn, with his arm around Gwen Stacy's waist, slowly stood up from the scorching sandpit.
An absolute vacuum zone was formed within three meters of him. The orange-red Destruction Beam was forcibly cleaved in the middle by the black mist, cascading wildly to both sides like a waterfall along the invisible barrier. The sand beneath his feet had long since been burned into scalding glass crystals, emitting a crisp cracking sound.
Lynn, who was at the eye of the storm, didn't even have a single hair singed.
"Cold..." Gwen Stacy shivered unconsciously.
Pressed against Lynn's chest, she felt no heat, only a bone-chilling cold. That coldness did not frighten her; on the contrary, it greatly relieved the tearing, burning pain in her back.
Lynn lowered his head and looked at the girl in his arms who was barely breathing.
There was no white in his eyes anymore; Death Energy, as black as ink, slowly swirled in his pupils, exuding an indifference that did not belong to this world.
"You want to drag me Hell?"
Lynn supported Gwen Stacy's bloodied back with one hand. Pure Death Force surged from his palm, forcibly entering her body through the Carbonization wounds and domineeringly sealing off her ever-losing life force.
He leaned close to Gwen Stacy's ear, his voice low and hoarse, yet carrying an undeniable desire for control.
"If I disagree, even Hell won't dare take you."
Gwen Stacy's body stiffened abruptly, her unfocused pupils reflecting Lynn's pure black eyes. She twitched her lips, as if she wanted to say something sarcastic, but her taut nerves snapped completely upon hearing those words, her head lolled to the side, and she fainted in Lynn's arms.
Even after she had fainted, her hands were still tightly gripping Lynn's clothes.
Lynn hugged Gwen Stacy with one arm and slowly raised his head.
Dark eyes pierced through the cascading waterfall of light, locking onto the massive Iron Man Armor in mid-air.
Asgard's ultimate weapon?
Odin's pride?
Lynn's lips curled into a bloodthirsty smirk. The blood in his body was boiling wildly due to the newly fused Death Force. He now not only possessed the Chaos Magic and the destructive force of the Dark Phoenix, but also grasped the most fundamental logic of the Marvel Universe —life and death.
This sense of inflated ego, which is above everything else, needs an outlet.
He did not use Chaos Magic to distort reality, nor did he summon the flames of the Dark Phoenix to burn the sky.
He simply held Gwen Stacy in his arms, stepped forward, and walked on the scorching hot glass crystals beneath his feet.
With that one step, the raging black mist around him suddenly contracted inward, converging entirely onto his right arm.
Lynn slowly raised his empty right hand.
Spread your five fingers.
Facing the Destruction Beam, powerful enough to level a city and reaching temperatures of thousands of degrees, Lynn's palm surged with churning black Death Energy as he casually pressed it forward.
