Crossing the Line: Chaos Magic's Furious Counterattack
A deafening sonic boom exploded less than half a meter from the eardrums.
The left half of his body felt like it had been stuffed into a steel furnace, with Scarlet magical particles frantically devouring the air and emitting a strong Ozone odor. The right half, on the other hand, was frozen into a layer of black frost by the extreme cold of Death Energy, even making the flow of blood sluggish.
Lynn narrowed his eyes. He held the Gwen Stacy tightly in his arms with one arm, and secretly mobilized the Death Force Affinity fingertips, transforming this extremely cold Death Energy into a close-fitting shield, firmly blocking the tearing energy from the outside.
This oppressive feeling of teetering on the brink of destruction caused his adrenaline to surge wildly.
Through the energy storm of interwoven red and black, Lynn looked at Wanda a hundred meters away.
Wanda hovered in mid-air, the frozen ground beneath her feet scorched into a dark red glass by the intense heat of the Chaos Magic. Her Scarlet eyes, now devoid of any whites, were fixed on Hela's hand pressed against Lynn's cheek.
envy.
Jealousy strong enough to completely evaporate reason.
"I said... get your filthy hands off me!" Wanda's vocal cords ripped from her scream, and she coughed up a mouthful of bloody saliva. She clenched her fists together sharply.
The Scarlet giant claw, suspended in mid-air, instantly expanded, becoming like a solid crystal, and with a piercing friction sound, pressed inch by inch towards Hela's Death Energy shield.
"Lynn is mine! You old woman who crawled out of nowhere, stay away from him!"
Wanda's voice echoed mournfully over the desert. She didn't care whether her body could withstand the backlash of this power, and directly burned the Chaos Origin deep within her soul.
Boom!
The Scarlet claws, which had been suppressed in mid-air by the Death Energy, shattered instantly, transforming into a sky full of raging Scarlet Chains. These chains ignored the laws of physics, directly piercing through the barriers of space, and with an insatiable desire for destruction, they slashed towards Hela's back from all directions.
At the edge of the ruins, Susan gritted her teeth and pushed forward with both hands. A high-density, Invisible Force Field enveloped her and the immobilized Natasha.
"What kind of monster is this?" Susan stared at the energy collision ahead, which was enough to destroy Manhattan, her eyes twitching wildly. Her proud Molecular Force Field had begun to creak under the strain of merely brushing against the edge of the Death Energy.
Natasha leaned against the wreckage of the armored vehicle, enduring the churning in her stomach, and stared intently at Lynn in the eye of the storm.
"Whoever she is... she wants to monopolize Master." Natasha bit her lip, tasting the strong metallic flavor of blood. "Susan, find a chance to break through her defenses and snatch Master back!"
The eye of the storm.
Hela finally frowned.
The pressure from above her head was increasing, and the Scarlet energy was carrying an unreasonable modifying property, forcibly dismantling her Laws of Death.
But this did not frighten her; instead, it stirred up the tyranny within her that was inherent in her as the Eldest Princess of Asgard.
"Old woman?" Hela chewed on the word, a chilling sneer appearing on her pale face.
She finally and reluctantly withdrew her right hand from Lynn's cheek. The moment her fingertips left Lynn's skin, the infatuation and tenderness in her eyes vanished, replaced by a murderous intent as fierce as a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood.
"You lowly mortal, you have successfully angered the Deity."
Hela didn't turn around. She simply raised her right hand casually and clenched her fist in mid-air.
Buzz!
An extremely dense mass of black Death Energy gathered and stretched in her palm. Accompanied by an extremely piercing metallic scraping sound, a slender, jet-black sword with strange patterns on its surface materialized out of thin air.
Night Sky Sword.
Hela's signature artifact, a deadly weapon that once beheaded countless Valkyries.
Hela gripped the Night Sky Sword and swung it backhand.
There were no superfluous movements, no complicated incantations. Just pure, extreme violence.
A black sword beam, tens of meters long, tore through space, carrying the domineering power to sever life and death, and slammed fiercely into the descending Scarlet Chains.
Boom--!
The energies of red and black exploded in mid-air.
The entire New Mexico desert was as if struck by a meteorite, the ground instantly collapsing into a crater hundreds of meters in diameter. The violent Impact sent armored vehicles flying like toys. Coulson and several surviving Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. were swept hundreds of meters away by the blast before they could even scream.
Lynn stood in the very center of the pit, his feet resting on the only intact patch of ground. He watched the energy fragments flying everywhere, and the smile on his face grew wider and wider.
Go ahead and fight.
The more brutally he beats them, the more twisted their possessiveness becomes, and the more secure his Throne becomes. All he needs to do now is enjoy the thrill of being absolutely protected by top-tier combat power, watching them destroy the world in their struggle for him.
The energy storm subsided slightly.
Amidst the swirling sand and dust, Hela slowly turned around.
The Black Thorn Crown on her head danced wildly amidst the Death Energy, and the Night Sky Sword in her hand pointed diagonally at the ground, its tip dripping with viscous dark energy.
She finally looked directly at Wanda, who was surrounded by Chaos Magic, a hundred meters away.
A hint of extreme contempt flashed in those violent eyes.
