A new Shura Field dynamic, Nick Fury's utter despair
Deep in the Alps, S.H.I.E.L.D.- Top Secret Safe House belonging to S. H. I. E. L. D.
The exhaust fan emitted a dull hum, mixed with the damp, musty smell unique to underground air-raid shelters. Nick Fury sat in front of the all-black command console, his only remaining eye bloodshot, staring intently at the Holographic Screens in front of him.
The words "New Mexico - Top Secret" were flashing in the upper right corner of the screen.
Over the comms, Coulson's voice came in broken, trembling with the shock of surviving a near-death experience. "Director... the footage's been transmitted. Thor's dead, the Destroyer Armor was torn to shreds by hand... We don't even have the courage to fire."
Fury's fingers, which were holding the cigar, twitched slightly. A piece of grayish-white ash fell onto his tactical vest, but he didn't notice.
The images playing on the screen completely shattered his lifelong worldview as a secret agent.
The woman with the Black Thorn Crown took only one step forward, and the surrounding sand and withered grass instantly Carbonization. Her casually swung black sword cleaved the thick Thunderstorm Clouds in two as easily as cutting tofu. And the girl, wreathed in Scarlet light, went even further, ruthlessly shoving the seven-colored beam of light from Asgard —a beam powerful enough to pierce the Earth's crust—back into outer space!
This is a war that humans cannot intervene in.
But that wasn't what terrified Fury the most. What truly sent shivers down his spine was the final freeze-frame of the image.
Lynn, whom he had abandoned and threatened as Variant, actually grabbed the Goddess of Death's chin roughly amidst the ruins, like scolding a disobedient hunting dog!
The Deity who had just been so arrogant as to want to slaughter the Nine Realms actually lowered his head obediently, his eyes filled with a morbid infatuation.
Immediately afterwards, those terrifying women, any one of whom could wipe New York off the map, began to taunt and mock each other for a spot next to Lynn. In the end, like a pack of completely tamed Beast, they obediently followed behind him and stepped into the blue portal back to Manhattan.
"Snap."
Fury abruptly crushed the cigar in his hand. The scalding tobacco burned his palm, but he felt no pain whatsoever.
"The Avengers Initiative..." Fury managed to squeeze out a laugh that sounded worse than crying from his dry throat.
He was laughing at his own ignorance. What were those trump cards he held in his hand? Tony Stark's iron shell? Captain America still sleeping in the glacier?
In the face of these women, his proud Avengers were nothing more than a low-quality circus!
Fury slumped back in his chair, the light in his single eye completely fading. The dark order he had painstakingly built up over decades had been crushed to dust the moment Lynn stepped into the portal. Control of Earth had completely changed hands.
The focus shifts back to New York, to the top floor of the Baxter Building.
Lynn leaned back in his leather swivel chair, his long legs crossed and propped up on the Holographic Projection table. He held a freshly brewed cup of black coffee in his hand, its bitter, rich aroma lingering around his nose.
Outside the window, the Manhattan night sky had been dyed in an extremely dazzling yet deadly color.
Scarlet Chaos Particles, like a boiling sea of blood, churned wildly in the clouds; pitch-black Death Energy transformed into enormous blades, tearing through the night sky from time to time; Negative Zone Lightning darted between buildings.
Those X-Men Blackbird that had flown in so aggressively were now like moths caught in a meat grinder.
Through Natasha's real-time monitoring, Lynn clearly saw this one-sided Carnage.
Susan's Invisible Force Field violently compressed the fighter jet's hull like squeezing a soda can, crushing the Mutants inside into a pulp before he could even scream. Gwen Stacy transformed into a white lightning bolt, instantly paralyzing the fighter jet's life support system with high-voltage Bioelectricity.
Wanda and Hela, on the other hand, turned this into an arena for vying for favor. Chaos Magic and the Night Sky Sword clashed wildly in the air, completely disregarding who was in the fighter jet, only wanting to kill faster and more ruthlessly than the other.
Charles's supposedly superior mind control? In the face of Hela, a Deity who has lived for thousands of years, and Wanda's raging Chaos Energy, it didn't even make a ripple.
This is the benefit of raising Gu (a type of poisonous insect).
Lynn took a sip of coffee. He could transform the jealousy and possessiveness of these Yandere women into a sharp weapon for external expansion. All he needed to do was sit on his Throne and watch his enemies be torn to shreds.
"Master, Charles's brainwave signal has completely disappeared." Natasha stood behind the swivel chair, her fingers flying across the tablet, her voice filled with undisguised fanaticism. "Should I activate the ground forces to retrieve the Mutants remains?"
"No rush." Lynn placed her coffee cup on the table. "Let them vent a little longer; holding it in for too long can make them bite."
Just as Lynn was about to admire his spoils...
A sudden change has occurred!
Thump!
Lynn's heart suddenly clenched violently! A terrifying, unpredictable burning sensation exploded from the inside of his left arm!
This was no ordinary pain. It felt like someone had injected a tube of magma at thousands of degrees Celsius directly into his vein!
"Bang!"
With a flick of his wrist, Lynn pulverized the Ceramic Coffee Cup he had just set down into dust by an invisible, violent energy. The scalding hot coffee hadn't even hit the ground before it evaporated into a cloud of white mist in mid-air.
"Master?!" Natasha was shocked and was about to step forward to help him up.
"Back off!" Lynn shouted sharply, his voice filled with suppressed pain.
He abruptly ripped open the sleeve of his shirt on his left arm.
The pupils suddenly contracted.
The Dark Gold Dark Phoenix Mark that had been dormant beneath the skin since the Genes fusion was now writhing wildly between the muscle lines like an ancient ferocious beast that had come to life!
The blinding and violent Dark Gold flames burned through the skin and spread upwards along the blood vessels, heading straight for the heart!
In my mind, the system's alarm sounded like a piercing air raid siren, frantically flooding the screen.
[WARNING! WARNING!]
[Anomaly in Cosmic-Level Energy fluctuations detected!]
[The target's mental coordinates have been completely locked onto the host! The Dark Phoenix personality is forcibly descending across space!]
The excruciating pain instantly caused Lynn's forehead to bead with cold sweat. He gritted his teeth, his right hand clenching tightly around his left arm, attempting to suppress the raging flames with Chaos Magic.
But he underestimated the madness of this force.
This was not a simple energy resonance; it was the most brutal declaration of possessiveness from the Yandere Personality deep within the Xavier's School's underground base, after sensing the energy fluctuations of other women!
Outside the window, the night sky, which was originally dominated by red and black, was suddenly torn open by a huge Dark Gold crack.
A savage bird cry, piercing to the soul and carrying a terrifying, oppressive force capable of destroying everything, echoed throughout New York!
