The Liaison Office's anonymous tip: a political counter through borrowed force

Lynn's gaze shifted from Jean Grey's face to the empty space in the center of the hall.

The subway station was forcibly demolished.

This method is crude, direct, and unreasonable.

Yet it was perfectly shrouded in the legal guise of worldly rules. The other party was using what he was best at to deal with him.

Gwen Stacy, standing to the side, felt a tightness in her chest. She knew very well that once the subway station was physically destroyed, the hostages they were holding would lose all their value. At that point, the other side would have no more scruples, and the blockade would only become tighter.

This is the step of a general.

The Aura of Death surrounding Hela intensified once more. She took a step forward, about to speak.

Lynn, however, turned around before her and walked back towards the Bone Throne.

He didn't sit down, but simply placed his hand lightly on the armrest and turned his gaze to Gwen Stacy.

"Liaison Office"

"Yes," Gwen Stacy replied immediately.

"Do you have a copy of the technical analysis report that the Department of Technology submitted before?" Lynn asked.

Gwen Stacy paused slightly, then nodded. "Yes. The one about the conflict in Kang's underlying encryption logic for the communication band."

"Very good." Lynn's voice was calm and even. "If the other party doesn't play by the rules, we must use the rules to confine them."

He looked at Gwen Stacy, his eyes showing no urgency in the face of crisis, but rather a cold interest.

"The Council of Kangs is not a monolithic entity; this intelligence is valuable. Since someone is trying to bypass internal procedures and establish an independent kingdom outside, we have an obligation to remind his colleagues."

The atmosphere in the hall underwent a subtle shift because of Lynn's words.

The anger in Hela's eyes slowly faded, replaced by a hint of amusement. Wanda's figure emerged from the shadows, lost in thought.

Gwen Stacy immediately understood Lynn's intention.

"I understand," she said. "You mean to compile this technical analysis report, and our conclusion of 'unauthorized overreach' based on it, into a document."

"The wording must be precise, and we must consider the other party's internal perspective," Lynn added. "We are not whistleblowing; we are 'a concerned, anonymous insider' reporting a problem to the organization."

He paused, carefully emphasizing each word.

"The focus of the materials should be on two issues. First, procedural irregularities. Without parliamentary authorization, the Adjudicators and Inspection Group were arbitrarily deployed to interfere in Experimental Zone 616 beyond their authority. Second, asset loss. Treating Experimental Zone 616 as private property and attempting to illegally seize and privatize assets seriously damages the collective interests of Parliament."

"Procedural violations", "Asset loss".

These two words pinpoint the crux of any large organization.

"What about the distribution channel?" Gwen Stacy asked.

"Let's use that communication band we intercepted before," Lynn said. "Wanda's report mentioned that Kang's opposing faction has been trying to send contact signals to Earth through the background noise of this band. This means they're watching this place too. Deliver this anonymous material precisely, and they'll know how to use it."

"Understood." Gwen Stacy's eyes sharpened. "I'll take care of it immediately."

"This matter will be handled entirely by your Liaison Office," Lynn concluded. "I don't care about the process, only the result."

"Yes."

Gwen Stacy acknowledged the order and withdrew, her figure quickly disappearing at the end of the corridor.

Hela looked in the direction Gwen Stacy had left, then glanced at Lynn beside the Throne, but ultimately said nothing, turning and disappearing into the darkness.

The vast White Bone Hall fell silent once more.

Cross-Dimensional and Special Threat Liaison Office, Office.

The environment here is far less mysterious than the Chaos Furnace of the Technology Integration Department, nor as oppressive as the military camp of the Stability Maintenance Office; it's more like a highly classified Archives Department and intelligence analysis center.

Gwen Stacy sat at her desk, two documents displayed side-by-side on the virtual screen in front of her.

One document is Wanda's "Technical Assessment Report on the Underlying Logic Conflict of the Kang the Conqueror Communication Band".

The other document was an anonymous whistleblower letter she had just drafted, titled "An Urgent Report on Several Abnormal Situations in Experimental Zone No. 616".

She meticulously compared and revised the text, word by word.

She removed all technical terms related to Chaos Magic and Negative Zone from the report and replaced them with bureaucratic jargon that the other party could understand.

She changed "Inverse analysis of Chaos Perception Matrix" to "Through deep screening of redundant Data Stream".

She described the "logical conflict between authoritarian will and parliamentary consensus" as "abnormal branches in the instruction set that do not conform to the 'supreme resolution'."

The phrase "unauthorized overreach" was too direct, so after careful consideration, she changed it to "suspected of accessing high-level resources without obtaining formal authorization."

The phrase "establishing an independent kingdom" is cleverly packaged as "its actions have demonstrated a dangerous tendency to 'closed-off internal management' of assets within its designated jurisdiction."

Finally, regarding the "privatization of state-owned assets," she used detailed data to firmly link the asset size of the Roxxon Energy Group and Kang's attempt to forcibly demolish the subway station with the concept of "parliamentary collective assets," clearly pointing out that such behavior constituted "embezzlement, transfer, and misappropriation of public property that should belong to all members of parliament."

Every word was carefully considered and refined.

It must leave no trace pointing to Negative Zone, yet the recipient must be able to immediately understand the stakes involved and find ammunition to attack political enemies.

This is not merely translation, but a re-creation based on profound understanding.

After completing the first draft, Gwen Stacy did not send it immediately.

She activated an internal simulation program, projecting the whistleblower letter into a virtual interpersonal relationship model, repeatedly simulating the various chain reactions it might trigger within the "Council of Kangs".

Until all the deductions pointed in the same direction—internal review was initiated and external pressure eased.

She then closed the simulation program and let out a long breath.

She opened a highly encrypted communication port, the same frequency band that had been intercepted earlier.

The interface is very simple, with only a recipient address bar and a send button.

The recipient's address was a string of undecipherable gibberish, but Gwen Stacy knew that behind this gibberish lay one or more of Kang's competitors.

She uploaded the compiled anonymous report materials as an encrypted attachment.

Then, she hovered her finger over the "Send" button, which was glowing with a faint blue light.

Fingertips fall.

A notification box pops up on the screen: [Email sent].

The mission is complete.

Gwen leaned back in her chair, her tense nerves relaxing slightly. Now, it was just a matter of waiting. Waiting to see how big a splash this pebble thrown into the lake would make.

The office was silent except for the faint hum of the equipment.

Just then...

The screen in front of her suddenly flickered.

A minimalist dialog box popped up unexpectedly, overlaying the previous "email sent" notification.

The dialog box contained only one reply from an unknown source.

"Materials received, well done."
