Lynn sat in the empty interrogation room for a while longer.

The heavy Alloy Door behind him acted like an absolute boundary, isolating all the information brought by Sylvie from the outside world.

The Temporal Loom is experiencing computational overload.

Internal strife between Pragmatists and Originalist Faction.

He returned to the White Bone Hall, but instead of sitting on the Throne that symbolized supreme power, he walked to the enormous French windows. Outside, the gray sky, formed from the convergence of countless undead consciousnesses, hovered Eternity and slowly, silently.

It's like a giant quagmire.

The extradition letter thrown down by TVA is a huge boulder, intended to plunge Negative Zone deep into the mire.

What Lynn needs to do now is to actively stir up this murky water.

The person throwing the stones was so badly injured that he couldn't even stand up straight.

He returned to his desk and issued a brief instruction via the internal terminal.

"Wanda Maximoff, from the Technology Integration Department, come to my office."

A moment later, the doors to the main hall slid open silently. Wanda walked in, her Scarlet leather jacket the only bright spot in the gray space.

Her arrival added a subtle, almost imperceptible restlessness to the cold, deathly silence in the air.

"What did she say?" Wanda asked bluntly, her Scarlet eyes revealing no attempt to conceal her scrutiny and rejection of Sylvie.

Lynn didn't answer directly. He picked up an empty coffee cup from the table and fiddled with it in his hand.

"I need you to do something for me." He looked up at Wanda. "Something technical."

Wanda didn't speak, she just looked at him, waiting for him to continue.

"I need a ghost," Lynn said calmly, as if assigning a routine data cleaning task, "An energy signal. Its characteristics must be exactly the same as our new consultant, Ms. Sylvie."

He paused, then added more details.

"The signal must originate in a conventional monitoring blind spot outside of Negative Zone. It must ultimately disappear deep within the Quantum Realm. The entire process must appear as a hasty, chaotic, but successful space jump."

Wanda frowned slightly; she instantly understood Lynn's intention.

"Do you want them to think she ran away?"

There was even a hint of barely perceptible satisfaction in her tone. It was best if a troublesome person disappeared on their own.

Lynn neither confirmed nor denied it.

"I only need one set of data, a seemingly flawless sensor log documenting this 'escape.'" He placed the cup back on the table with a slight click. "This log needs to fool the TVA experts."

Wanda's lips curled into a confident smile.

"Their technology is built on the logic of the ' Temporal Loom.' My magic, however, is illogical." A glint flashed in her Scarlet eyes. "Back in the Battleworld, I figured out the underlying protocol of their surveillance network. Injecting a piece of fake telemetry data isn't difficult."

"Very good." Lynn nodded.

This was exactly the result he wanted. He was in charge of steering the ship and determining the course; and Wanda was the sharpest and most unreasonable icebreaker in his hands.

"Encrypt the logs, disguise them as an intercepted internal TVA report, and then send them to me."

Wanda accepted the order and turned to leave. She never questioned Lynn's strategic intentions; she only needed to execute them and ensure that no one could threaten the man's plans.

The hall fell silent once more.

Lynn opened a separate, physically isolated, Encrypted Terminal. The screen contained only a simple text input box.

He entered a line of commands.

"I need the channel you mentioned earlier."

A moment later, a long string of complex, constantly changing encrypted characters appeared on the screen. Below the characters was a line of smaller text.

"Use them and then destroy them. Their people are everywhere." -- Sylvie

Lynn copied down the string of characters.

Not long after, a data packet was transmitted directly from the main server of the Technology Integration Department to his Encrypted Terminal.

It's a "ghost log" that Wanda created.

Without the slightest hesitation, Lynn immediately entered a chaotic and disorderly public data exchange node through the channel provided by Sylvie. This was the Dark Web of the Multiverse, where countless pieces of information, both true and false, gathered, were traded, and fermented.

He found a specific anonymous mailbox. According to Sylvie's annotation, this mailbox was one of the secret channels used by the "Time-Keeper Fundamentalists" within TVA to receive external intelligence.

Lynn packaged the forged log as "Top Secret intelligence" leaked by a mid-level Technician who harbored resentment towards Ravonna, and dropped it into the mailbox.

He then disconnected the connection and initiated the terminal's physical self-destruct mechanism.

After doing all this, he picked up the cup of coffee that had gone cold.

Now, all he needs to do is wait.

Waiting for the bait to be spotted, waiting for the big fish underwater to bite the hook fiercely out of greed and anger.

A few hours later.

White Bone Hall, the Control Console emitted a crisp buzzing sound.

It was a top-priority intelligence briefing from Gwen Stacy at the Liaison Office.

Lynn activated the light screen.

TVA executives held an emergency closed-door meeting. The topic of discussion was the out-of-control incident involving the registered Class A Variant L-1190.

The fish has taken the bait.

Lynn leaned back in his chair, watching the constantly updated stream of intelligence, filtered and organized by Gwen Stacy, on the screen.

"At the meeting, a representative of the Originalist Faction presented an internal log of 'unknown origin,' accusing Special Envoy Ravonna Renslayer of gross negligence during Negative Zone audit, which allowed the Variant L-1190 to exploit a vulnerability in the Negative Zone defenses and successfully escape to the Quantum Realm."

"Ravonna denied it on the spot, stating that the Variant was still within the Negative Zone Jurisdiction and demanding an immediate resumption of the mandatory search of the Negative Zone to prove her innocence."

The Originalist Faction rejected the proposal, arguing that Ravonna had lost credibility in the matter and that any of her judgments were unreliable. They demanded that the incident be immediately classified as a top-level security incident and that the Adjudication Office take over the subsequent manhunt.

The confrontation in the conference room, even through the cold light screen, seemed to exude an air of tension.

Lynn's fingers tapped lightly on the armrest.

The argument between the two sides lasted for a long time. Ravonna's side insisted on coming to the Negative Zone to "arrest people to prove their innocence," while the Originalist Faction insisted that Ravonna had "failed to perform her duties" and should be sidelined.

Ultimately, under the mediation of the Chief Judge, an unexpected yet reasonable solution was presented.

compromise.

Gwen Stacy's final report appeared on the screen.

"Director, TVA has just passed a joint resolution."

"They will send a ' Joint Investigation Team ' composed of both factions into the Negative Zone."

The words on the light screen were clear yet cold.

Mission objective: Enter the Negative Zone and verify the true whereabouts of Variant L-1190.
