External Network Gateway Alarms Sound in Full, the Time Guards' Coordinated Assault
A piercing alarm ripped through the sweltering air inside the private laboratory.
Wanda's hand, which was about to push open the door, froze in mid-air.
In the corridor, all the regular lights were turned off, and the glaring red emergency lights, like flowing blood, stained every inch of the metal walls in a shocking way.
The cold, electronic synthesized voice, transmitted through the built-in broadcasting system, echoed in every corner of the Negative Zone Management Committee, devoid of any emotion, yet more chilling than any shout.
[WARNING! WARNING! The external network gateway is under saturation coordinated attack!]
[Firewall integrity dropped to 90%...80%...70%...]
Wanda's knuckles turned white from gripping the scorching metal fragment tightly.
Without the slightest hesitation, she flung open the door and rushed into the chaotic red corridor. Technicians hurried about, their faces filled with panic, and reports and instructions rang out incessantly.
No one dared to stand in the way of the Technology Minister.
Wanda ignored all of that; she had only one goal.
The White Bone Hall, the Director's Office.
When she forcefully pushed open the door that symbolized the highest power of the Management Committee, her anger filled with icy fury, the atmosphere inside had already frozen solid.
Lynn sat calmly behind his large desk, as if the red storm sweeping across the entire Dimension outside the window had nothing to do with him.
On the desk, several holographic screens are refreshing data at an extremely high frequency.
The Holographic Projection of Liaison Office Chief Gwen Stacy stood to one side, his face tense.
"Director, the C-9 Quadrant border port is overloaded, the Stability Maintenance Office Fleet radar system is being completely suppressed, and we are losing our peripheral vision."
A trembling voice from a technical supervisor came through the Communicator: "Director, the attack traffic exceeds the security threshold by a thousand times! The attacker is using at least three standard Fleet- level computing power to indiscriminately flood the data!"
"Bang!"
With a muffled thud, Wanda slammed the charred remains of the server onto Lynn's desk.
"Director."
Her voice was cold, suppressing an energy that was about to burst forth.
Lynn's gaze shifted from the main screen to the wreckage, then slowly rose to look at Wanda.
"This is TVA's Trojan," Wanda stated succinctly, skipping all preamble. "I just conducted a violation activation test on that 'deprecated code.' It possesses a high degree of corrosiveness and self-iterative capability; its Underlying Logic is destruction and conquest."
Her gaze swept over the flashing alarm lights.
"The external attack is not a coincidence. It's a coordinated operation. TVA is using a high-intensity data attack as cover to try to awaken this lurking mechanical calamity within us from the outside."
She took a step forward, placed her hands on the table, and stared intently at Lynn with her Scarlet eyes.
"I demand that all external data interactions with the Management Committee be immediately severed, and that the highest level of physical isolation be implemented. This is currently the only way to prevent them from colluding with outsiders."
This is a completely reasonable, and the only correct, suggestion.
Gwen Stacy and the technicians present all nodded subconsciously.
Just then, a loud electromagnetic interference sound came from the main communication channel, and the image of Stability Maintenance Office Director Hela, appeared with difficulty. Her voice was filled with suppressed anger.
"Lynn! My Fleet has been blinded! The enemy is using conceptual electromagnetic interference; all the Undead Warship ' fire control systems have failed! This isn't a conventional attack; this is war!"
Hela's image flickers, but her attitude is incredibly clear.
"I demand that the Fleet immediately retreat to the second Defense Line and regroup! If this continues, we'll be passively attacked on our own doorstep!"
One side demanded the network be cut off, while the other demanded the withdrawal of troops.
When faced with a crisis, the heads of the two core violent departments of the Management Committee made a judgment that was most in line with military logic: to shrink the Defense Line and preserve strength.
All eyes were on Lynn.
The entire White Bone Hall seemed to be filled only with the monotonous wailing of alarms and a deathly silence awaiting the words of the highest decision-maker.
Lynn didn't look at anyone.
His fingers tapped steadily on the armrest, his gaze never leaving the defense progress bar on the main screen, which was being rapidly eroded.
TVA, or rather, B-15, finally couldn't hold back any longer and took matters into its own hands.
The false information sent by Ravonna was like a drop of water falling into boiling oil, precisely igniting all of the opponent's patience.
They thought it was time to close the net.
They thought they were hunters wielding butcher knives.
Little did they know, their prey had already prepared an even more robust cage, and their all-out attack was merely the final step in providing the key to that cage.
Lynn slowly raised one hand.
This simple action instantly silenced all the noise in the office.
He ignored Hela's request to retreat and did not respond to Wanda's questions, but instead turned his gaze to the Holographic Projection of Liaison Office Chief Gwen Stacy.
"Director Gwen Stacy."
"Yes, Director," Gwen Stacy replied immediately.
"Pass on my orders." Lynn's voice was calm, devoid of any emotion, yet it acted like a stabilizing force, forcefully suppressing all panic and agitation.
"Order the Technology Division to completely disable the external network firewall."
A moment of deathly silence.
The air seemed to freeze.
Gwen Stacy's Holographic Projection flickered visibly, as if the signal had been subjected to a tremendous emotional Impact.
Wanda clenched her fists tightly on the table, her eyes flashing with Scarlet light as she stared at Lynn in disbelief.
Downgrade the firewall?
This is tantamount to deliberately dismantling a dam in the face of a massive flood.
This is suicide.
"Director?" Gwen Stacy's voice trembled slightly; she needed to confirm the order's authenticity again. "You mean..."
Lynn finally looked away from the surging TVA attack Data Stream on the screen. He looked at the shocked faces of the crowd and calmly finished his orders.
"Open the door to attack data from TVA."
