The ultimate balancing act: Lynn's "Time Anchor" lie
The purple Quantum Light Spots resembled a swarm of hungry Army Ants, frantically climbing upwards along Lynn's left wrist.
The blood he had just coughed up, before it even had a chance to drip onto the retro tiles of the TVA Courtroom, disintegrated into ethereal purple dust in mid-air. A pungent smell of Ozone filled the air, mixed with the gradually dissipating life force on Lynn's body, pushing the oppressive feeling in this small space to its peak.
"No... stop! Stop right now!"
Wanda's voice went completely hoarse. She slammed her knees to the ground, her hands hovering loosely over Lynn's left arm, which was becoming transparent. Dense, Scarlet Chaos Particles poured out recklessly, attempting to forcibly alter the "collapsed" reality.
It's useless.
The Chaos Magic, powerful enough to tear apart Helicarrier, seemed to pass through a phantom, unable to touch the purple spots of light at all.
Hela's face, which was forever radiant with disdain for the Nine Realms and held aloofness, finally cracked with a hint of fear. She hurled the Night Sky Sword to the ground, pressed her hands against Lynn's shoulders, and unleashed a torrent of eerie green Death Force into Lynn's body.
"I will not allow you to die! I have written the Laws of Death in Asgard. What are mere Higher-Dimensional Toxin compared to this!" Hela gritted her teeth, cold sweat beading on her forehead, but the Death Energy remained as if it had vanished into thin air, not even causing a ripple.
Gwen Stacy's mask had long since fallen off, her blonde hair plastered to her cheeks with sweat and tears. She gripped Lynn's still-swelling right hand tightly, her nails digging into his flesh, a desperate sob escaping her throat. "You promised me... you said you were my world, how could you abandon me again!"
"Hiss--roar!" The Female Venom's massive body writhed restlessly, the black slime trying to coat Lynn's torso, but it was scalded by the purple light spots and emitted a sizzling, burnt smell.
Four killing gods, powerful enough to sweep across the Multiverse, surrounded this dying man like a group of helpless prisoners.
Lynn leaned against the dilapidated Control Console, his eyelids heavy as if filled with lead. His chest heaved violently, each breath releasing more purple particles of light.
But no one knew that deep within his retina, on that dark blue panel visible only to him, he held firm control over the TVA's Source Code. These seemingly deadly purple spots were merely a "camouflage cheat" he had created for himself using the TVA visual effects system. Just now, to evade Wanda and Hela's attack, he had used his authority to perform a microscopic Space Folding —in secret agent terms, it was like a high- Dimension "Substitution Technique."
Although they managed to dodge the fatal blow, they also completely enraged these four crazed women. If their murderous intent isn't transformed into protectiveness now, this Shura Field will eventually blast the Earth into cosmic dust.
"Cough cough..." Lynn coughed weakly twice, deliberately making his voice sound faint, "Don't waste your energy... TVA's Erasure Protocol shattered my Time Anchor. Now... I'm like a ghost without coordinates, being forcibly rejected by the Underlying Logic of the Multiverse."
"There must be a way! You can even repair my universe, how could you possibly die here!" Gwen Stacy, her tears falling onto Lynn's hand, hot as ice.
"I have a way." Lynn, his eyes half-closed, glanced at the four women on the verge of collapse, and unveiled his carefully crafted scheme. "But relying on a single force... won't work."
This sentence is like a searchlight being lit in the darkness.
Four intensely burning gazes, filled with a fanatical obsession, instantly fixed themselves on Lynn.
"Tell me. What do you want?" Hela's voice was icy cold, but her hand on Lynn's shoulder trembled slightly. "Even if it means draining the life force of the Nine Realms, I will give it to you."
Lynn mentally rehearsed his ultimate water-balancing tactic one last time, then gave the most precise instructions in the weakest tone.
"My body, soul, spirit, and spatial coordinates are collapsing into four different Dimension. Only by simultaneously using four extreme powers to lock these four Dimension in the same instant can I re-establish Time Anchor."
Lynn grasped Gwen Stacy's trembling hand in return, his gaze deep. "Gwen Stacy, your universe has been repaired because of me; there is a Dimension bond between us. I need you to use your Spider-Sense to lock onto my collapsing spatial coordinates, and use your Bio-Electric Field to pull me back to the edge of reality. Can you do that?"
"I can! I will never let go!" Gwen Stacy activated the Bio-Electricity in her body without hesitation, and her black and white battle suit burst out with a dazzling White Light, anchoring Lynn firmly to the right side of the space.
Lynn turned to Wanda, her tone softening with a gentleness she only showed when speaking to her, "Wanda, my spirit is being devoured by nothingness. Your Chaos Magic is the ultimate way to alter reality. I need you to enter the depths of my consciousness and use Scarlet Particles to rebuild my Mental Barrier. Don't let me lose myself in nothingness, okay?"
"No one can take you away from me, not even the rules of the universe." Blood was still seeping from the corner of Wanda's eye. She took a deep breath, cupped Lynn's cheeks in her hands, and dark red magical energy transformed into countless fine threads that gently pierced Lynn's brow.
After calming the two most easily enraged individuals, Lynn looked at Hela, a weak smile tugging at the corners of his mouth, "Your Majesty, my soul is slipping away. The Death Force is the final resting place of the soul, and I need you to use the essence of Asgard to seal the flames of my soul. This may consume a great deal of your divine power..."
"Shut up. My pet has no right to decide its life or death." Hela sneered and slit her wrist. Dark Gold divine blood mixed with eerie green Death Force pressed directly against Lynn's chest. The violent Death Energy miraculously transformed into the strongest soul shackles the moment it touched Lynn.
Finally, Lynn looked at Female Venom. Symbiote don't have complex thoughts, only the purest desire to possess.
"Inject your Primordial Goo into my bone marrow, reshaping my collapsing Cellular Structure. Remember, go slowly, or I'll explode."
"Hiss!" The Female Venom let out an excited growl, and the black slime instantly transformed into countless fine, hair-like tentacles, which burrowed into Lynn's limbs and bones through his pores.
It's done.
Lynn closed her eyes.
Four energies representing the pinnacle of power in the Marvel Universe achieved a strange yet perfect balance within his body: Scarlet magic, eerie green divine power, white Bioelectricity, and black Symbiote essence.
The four Yandere, who were originally at each other's throats and wished they could tear each other to shreds, were now like four intricate gears, carefully operating around Lynn as the core. They didn't even dare to breathe loudly, for fear that the slightest fluctuation in their power would cause Lynn's Time Anchor to completely collapse.
Lynn, at the center of the storm, appeared to be frowning and in great pain, but in reality, he was frantically operating the system.
[Ding! Higher-Dimensional Energy injection detected... Analyzing the Chaos Origin... Fusing the Death Force... Extracting Symbiote cell resistance...]
This is simply an unprecedented feast of freebies.
Using the Magic-Free Environment of TVA as cover, Lynn brazenly absorbed the core power of the four women under the guise of "reshaping the Anchor." The hidden injuries he had sustained from forcibly withstanding the aftershocks of magic and the folding space were completely healed in just a few minutes, and his physical strength even increased to a new level.
Time passed by, second by second.
The purple Quantum Light Spots on Lynn's body began to fade at a visible rate. His previously transparent left arm became solid again, and his pale face regained its color.
"Call..."
As the last glimmer of purple light faded, Lynn exhaled a long breath and slowly opened his eyes.
What came into view were four faces, pale from extreme exhaustion.
Wanda nearly collapsed from exhaustion, Gwen Stacy was drenched in sweat, Hela's wrist wound was so deep it exposed bone, and Female Venom had shrunk considerably. But the way they looked at Lynn revealed a fanatical and obsessive joy at something lost and then regained.
"I'm back." Lynn gave a perfectly timed smile.
Without any unnecessary words, that smile was like a heavy hammer, completely shattering the four women's last psychological Defense Line. Their murderous intent was successfully transformed into an even more morbid desire to protect Lynn. In this Shura Field capable of destroying the Multiverse, Lynn, relying on top-notch Intelligence Contest and Oscar-worthy acting skills, managed to carve out a path to survival.
However, just as Lynn was preparing to strike while the iron was hot and separate the four women to appease them.
"Drop--"
The TVA Control Console behind them, which was half smashed, suddenly lit up with a blinding orange light.
The Holographic Projection Device, which had been frozen, emitted a piercing electrical buzzing sound. Then, as the light intertwined, a round, orange Holographic Image of a clock with a cartoonish smiley face appeared out of thin air above the control panel.
It held a small pointer in its hand, and its two big eyes darted around on its anthropomorphic smiling face before its gaze swept past the four women and locked onto Lynn.
Hey everyone!
A sickeningly sweet electronic female voice with a heavy Southern United States accent echoed in the Courtroom.
Wanda and Hela's eyes instantly turned extremely dangerous, and their murderous intent, which had just subsided, surged up again.
But the orange cartoon clock completely ignored the Deity pressure. It looked at Lynn with a smile, and the words it uttered made the hairs on the back of Lynn's neck stand on end.
"A brilliant performance, Mr. Lynn! You've tampered with TVA's underlying visual code, fooling these four beautiful ladies with a perfect 'fake death.' However..."
Miss Minutes tilted her head, her smile turning incredibly sinister, "Those little actions you left in the system have already caught the attention of ' that He Who Remains ' at the End of Time."
