Ghost-Spider's nightmare, Lynn's psychological gambit
The Siberian Ice Fields.
The wind howled like a knife, whipping up a sky full of snow and mist. Lynn stood in the eye of the storm, the Snap of his fingers barely audible, yet carrying an extremely precise infrasound vibration frequency.
The vibration traveled along his carotid artery and instantly reached the inside of his collar. The Nanotech Machine Spiders lurking within the fibers, upon receiving the specific frequency band, had their radio modules forcibly activated to maximum power.
Lynn knew very well that Gwen Stacy, halfway around the world, was staring intently at the screen, like a predatory Beast ready to be released from its cage. If he allowed this street-level Yandere with Dimension abilities to storm into Siberia and run into Wanda, who was on the verge of exploding, the balance he had painstakingly established would instantly collapse.
She must be locked up in New York.
The Snap landed, Lynn's once upright back suddenly hunched over. His knees buckled, and he knelt heavily in the snow.
"Lynn!" Wanda exclaimed in surprise, instinctively wanting to step forward, but fearing that the Chaos Magic on her body would harm him, she could only stop in her tracks, her eyes filled with helplessness.
Lynn ignored Wanda. He hugged his shoulders tightly, his fingers digging deep into his tactical uniform until his knuckles turned blue from the force. His pupils contracted sharply, his chest heaved violently like a broken bellows, and he gasped for breath.
"It's so cold... the wind is so strong..."
His pale lips moved, his voice trembling uncontrollably. This was not feigned weakness, but rather the result of him using system privileges to forcibly extract the real physiological feedback he experienced during the second simulation as he fell from the Clock Tower into the Abyss.
The feeling of weightlessness from the rapid fall, the deafening roar of the wind tearing at your Silk, and the suffocating despair of the snapping spider silk all transformed into real electrical signals at this moment, surging wildly into the servers in the underground blast room of New York along with the Data Stream of the nanospider.
New York, the Eden Basement.
"Beep beep beep--!"
A piercing red alarm instantly tore through the dim space. Dozens of Holographic Screens simultaneously flashed with Scarlet light.
Gwen Stacy's hand was already on the heavy blast door handle, preparing to activate Cross-Dimension Teleportation. Hearing the alarm, she turned around sharply.
On the screen, Lynn's heart rate was skyrocketing, instantly surpassing 160 beats per minute. His body temperature was plummeting, and his muscle cramp index was off the charts.
Immediately afterwards, Lynn's hoarse murmur, filled with extreme fear, came through the monitoring channel.
"So high... I can't reach it... Gwen Stacy..."
These words were like a rusty, blunt knife, stabbing Gwen Stacy's heart and then twisting it violently.
Clock Tower. Abyss. Broken Silk.
The image of the man smiling as he cut the Silk and fell into darkness to save her life overwhelmed Gwen Stacy's reason like a tidal wave. Her breath caught in her throat, and her body beneath the Ghost-Spider Suit trembled violently.
No... no!
Gwen Stacy lunged at the control panel like a madwoman, her knees slamming heavily against the metal corner, oblivious to the blood that beaded on them. She clung tightly to the main screen, stroking Lynn's contorted face through the cold glass, tears streaming down her face.
"I'm here! Lynn, I'm watching you! I'm coming to save you right now!" Gwen Stacy cried hoarsely into the microphone, her obsessive possessiveness and extreme self-blame tearing her apart.
Just as she was about to rush headlong into Siberia, Lynn's voice came through the speakers again.
"Don't come any closer..."
In the snow-covered Siberia landscape, Lynn hung his head. The wind and snow concealed the mocking and cold smile on his lips, but the voice that echoed back in New York revealed a heartbreaking vulnerability and dependence.
"The wind here... is as cold as under the Clock Tower. I'm afraid you'll fall too." Lynn closed her eyes, speaking very slowly, each word precisely striking Gwen Stacy's weak spot. "Gwen Stacy, please protect the house for me, okay? As long as I know you're there watching over me... I won't fall."
The basement was deathly silent.
The only sounds were the hum of the server fans and Gwen Stacy's heavy breathing.
"Help me guard this house," and "As long as you watch over me." These two sentences are like the most deadly poison in the world to a Yandere is extremely insecure and has an insatiable possessiveness.
Gwen Stacy's tense body gradually softened. She slumped into a chair, clutching her shoulders tightly, as if savoring the warmth of Lynn's words.
The frenzied killing intent in her bloodshot, azure eyes gradually faded, replaced by a twisted sense of satisfaction.
"Okay... I won't go. I won't go anywhere." Gwen Stacy pressed her face against the cold screen, murmuring obsessively to Lynn's image, "I'll protect the house for you. I'll always be watching over you, and no one will ever take you out of my sight. You're mine..."
Their psychological Defense Line were completely shattered.
A notification sounded in his mind that the crisis was over. On the Siberia ice plains, Lynn slowly opened his eyes.
He brushed the ice off his knees and stood up from the snow. His previously rapid breathing instantly calmed down, and his vulnerable appearance vanished, replaced by absolute rationality and coldness.
Street-level Yandere is ultimately too easy to handle.
"Lynn?" Wanda stared, stunned, at his sudden change in demeanor.
"I'm fine, darling. It was just a minor reaction to Dimension Rejection." Lynn turned her head and gave Wanda a reassuring look.
Then, his gaze passed over the wind and snow and landed on the battlefield ahead, which was completely out of control.
The physical warfare has only just begun.
Five awakened members of the Siberian Suicide Squad displayed terrifying combat power far beyond human comprehension. They had no sense of pain, and their muscle density was comparable to high-strength alloy.
"Bang!"
A member of the suicide squad leaped high into the air and delivered a powerful whip kick to the helmet of the Hulkbuster Armor. The enormous Impact caused the several-ton armor to stagger backward.
Tony was so dizzy from the shock in the cockpit that before he could regain his balance, the other two members of the Expendables pounced on him from the left and right, grabbing the mechanical right arm of the Hulkbuster Armor with their bare hands and tearing it outwards.
The metal emitted a piercing, mournful sound, and sparks flew everywhere.
"JARVIS! Maximize the power of the chest- Repulsor Cannon!" Tony roared, his eyes bloodshot, as he gave the order.
However, just as the Repulsor Cannon was about to finish charging, a silver afterimage tore through the wind and snow.
It's the Winter Soldier.
Bucky didn't use firearms as the files described. Like a silent Beast, he used a member of the Expendables' shoulder as leverage to leap directly in front of the Hulkbuster Armor.
Lynn's eyes narrowed slightly.
He keenly noticed that the Winter Soldier's Mechanical Left Arm, which Tony had severed with a laser and then hastily repaired by Hydra, was shimmering with an extremely eerie, ghostly blue light. It wasn't an ordinary Energy Circuit, but rather carried a Higher-Dimensional Fluctuation that could even distort space itself.
"Warning! Out-of-Spec Energy Source detected!" JARVIS's electronic voice revealed a sharp urgency for the first time.
The Winter Soldier swung his left fist without any expression.
There are no fancy moves, only pure speed and power.
"Boom--!"
The mechanical left fist slammed heavily onto the thick chest plate of the Hulkbuster Armor. The seemingly indestructible Titanium Alloy armor plate, upon contact with that eerie blue light, crumbled inch by inch like a fragile biscuit.
Terrifying kinetic energy permeated the entire machine.
Before Tony could even scream, the chest Arc Reactor of the Hulkbuster Armor went out completely. The massive steel Beast collapsed with a thud, smashing a large crater in the snow-covered ground.
"Tony!"
Behind the ruins not far away, Natasha lay in a pool of blood, her eyes wide with rage. A member of the suicide squad was pressing down on her back, and the dull thud of breaking ribs could be clearly heard.
With her last ounce of strength, she tilted her head back, her gaze piercing through the heavy snow and wind, fixing her gaze firmly on Lynn's direction.
"Lynn... run!" Natasha vomited blood, her piercing screams echoing across the icy plains. "His left arm... has Tesseract Extract implanted in it!"
Before he could finish speaking, the Winter Soldier slowly turned around.
Those empty eyes looked past the fallen Iron Man, pierced through the raging snowstorm, and locked onto Lynn, who stood in the distance.
He slowly raised the mechanical arm that shimmered with a ghostly blue light, its five fingers spread wide.
The surrounding wind and snow seemed to freeze eerily at that moment.
