Scarlet judgment, Wanda's crushing victory
A massive metal dome tore through millennia-old ice, carrying the pungent smell of sulfur and burnt magma from the earth, and crashed across the ice plain. On the surface of the dome, the Hydra skull tentacle symbol appeared and disappeared under a dark blue energy shield, forcibly keeping out the swirling snowstorm.
Like hyenas that have smelled blood, the remnants of the Crossbones quickly dispersed, relying on the defensive fortifications of the dome. Eight heavy plasma cannons with a caliber of over half a meter rose from the top of the armored vehicles, their blinding charging light turning the surrounding night white. The air was filled with the smell of Ozone from high-voltage ionization, mixed with a nauseating stench of blood.
"Fire! Blast him to smithereens!" the Hydra commander roared into the communications channel, his voice distorted by extreme fear, cold sweat instantly freezing on his forehead.
Eight thick beams of plasma tore through the air, carrying temperatures that could melt anything, heading straight for Lynn's location. The snow along the way instantly evaporated, turning into large plumes of white water vapor.
Lynn knelt on one knee in the snow, his left hand still maintaining the faint glow of Chaos Magic he was channeling to Natasha, forcibly keeping the red-haired female agent alive until the very last breath. Facing a concentrated barrage of fire that could level a mountain, he didn't even raise his head, a cruel mockery flashing in his deep eyes.
"Kill them all."
These three simple words convey an undeniable death sentence.
Wanda in mid-air moved.
Her eyes, already filled with a morbid possessiveness, were now completely consumed by a deep Scarlet. Her dark red leather trench coat fluttered in the gale, and she hovered several meters above the ground, like a world-destroying demon god descending to earth. The surrounding snowflakes were instantly vaporized by the violent magic before they could even get close to her body.
"Ants."
Wanda's red lips parted slightly, uttering syllables that were icy cold. She hated these sewer rats for constantly disturbing her and Lynn's time alone, and she hated even more that they dared to point guns at her only world.
She didn't even form a hand seal; she simply raised her right hand casually and clenched her fist in mid-air.
The raging Chaos Particles exploded outwards from her center, transforming into a Scarlet Veil that blotted out the sky. The eight plasma beams, powerful enough to destroy an aircraft carrier, were obliterated without even a spark upon touching the Veil, their existence completely Oblivion without a trace.
An eerie stillness fell over the Hydra's position. The commander stared wide-eyed, making meaningless gurgling sounds. This wasn't a battle; it was a one-sided Divine Punishment.
Wanda's rage continued to rise. She twisted her wrists, and Scarlet magical energy gathered in her palms into two extremely compressed spheres. The surrounding space visibly rippled under the pull of the Chaos Magic, and even the light was distorted.
"Die, all of you!"
Wanda pressed her hands down sharply.
The sky has fallen.
Countless materialized Scarlet Chains pierced through the void, like a reversed blood-red meteor shower, crashing down on Hydra's position.
"Raise the shield! Push all the energy to the dome!" The Hydra soldier frantically pounded on the control panel, his fingers trembling violently with terror.
The deep blue energy shield shone brightly.
But against the Chaos Magic of the Skyfather-level, this so-called strongest defense is utterly laughable.
The moment the Scarlet Chains touched the shield, there was no explosion, only pure, overwhelming force. The azure shield crumbled instantly, like butter sliced by a hot knife, turning into countless specks of light. Immediately afterward, the thick chains tightly bound the hundred-meter-diameter metal dome.
Wanda's fingers clenched tightly, and the veins on the back of her fair hands bulged.
"Creak--Bang!"
A deafening metallic clang echoed across the icy plains. The metal dome, crafted from special Titanium Alloy and capable of withstanding a nuclear blast, was molded and deformed like a fragile soda can under the kneading of Chaos Magic. Thick rivets flew off like bullets, and the barrels of heavy artillery were twisted into pretzel shapes.
The Hydra soldiers hiding beneath the dome and inside the armored vehicles didn't even have time to scream. A massive, water-pressure-like force instantly acted upon them. The armored vehicles' blast-proof plates caved inward, crushing their flesh into a heap. Dozens of fully armed soldiers, along with their prized weapons and equipment, were compressed by Chaos Magic into a dark red metallic ball of flesh less than three meters in diameter in less than two seconds.
Thick blood mixed with black engine oil dripped from the gaps in the metal ball, leaving glaring red spots on the snow. The warm blood froze instantly into dark red icicles upon contact with the minus forty-degree air.
Extremely stress-relieving. Extremely brutal.
In the distance, Tony Stark, slumped inside the wrecked Hulkbuster Armor, watched this scene through his mask, his stomach churning. His prized Iron Man Armor, the technological marvel he considered a genius's creation, seemed utterly powerless before this pure magical crushing force. He looked at Lynn, who remained kneeling in the snow, his clothes spotless, and the fear in his eyes deepened.
What kind of world-destroying power does this low-level S.H.I.E.L.D., used as cannon fodder by S. H. I. E. L. D., actually wield?
Wanda casually swung her hand, sending the enormous metal ball hurtling towards the distant glacier, triggering a small avalanche.
After clearing away the surrounding obstacles, her fierce aura instantly subsided, and her Scarlet eyes regained their clarity. She touched the ground with her toes and landed silently beside Lynn, like a girl who had done something insignificant and was eager to claim credit.
"Darling, it's all cleaned up." Wanda's voice was soft and sweet, even with a hint of flattery, but her gaze went past Lynn's shoulder and was fixed on the unconscious Natasha, her eyes revealing a morbid jealousy.
Lynn ignored Wanda's jealousy. He withdrew his left hand, confirmed that Natasha's injuries had been completely sealed by the Chaos Magic, and then slowly stood up. He brushed the snow off his tactical uniform, his gaze passing over the mess on the ground and turning into the depths of the snowstorm.
In that Carnage just now, there was one person who wasn't caught up in it.
Winter Soldier.
After witnessing Wanda's Dimensionality-Reduction Strike, Bucky Barnes's mechanical brain immediately concluded that the chances of winning were zero. Without any hesitation, he activated the miniature thrusters on the bottom of his tactical boots the instant the metal dome collapsed. He clung to the ice like a lone wolf, fleeing frantically toward another emergency exit of the Siberia base.
He moved quickly. The enhanced muscle power from the serum, combined with the balancing weight from the robotic arm, made him move across the snow as if it were flat ground. The wind howled in his ears, and he was less than fifty meters away from the entrance to the underground bunker.
"Trying to run?"
Lynn's lips curled into a cold smile.
His Top-tier Spider-Sense had already mapped out the entire escape route and landing point in his mind a fraction of a second before the Winter Soldier turned around. The intelligence war was over the moment the opponent retreated.
Lynn's right foot slammed down and shattered the ice beneath his feet.
He didn't use magic, but relied purely on the explosive power of his body. His calf muscles were like a fully drawn bowstring, releasing their power in an instant. His whole body turned into a blur, tearing through the swirling snow.
The Winter Soldier was sprinting at breakneck speed when, in an instant, his mechanical eyes detected an abnormal distortion in the space to his side. It was a vacuum created by the Invisible Force Field displacing the air.
The Winter Soldier instinctively swung his dark blue Mechanical Left Arm, the engine roaring under overload, and with a punch that tore through the air, he slammed it hard into the vacuum zone.
But Lynn was too fast, exceeding the frame rate capture limit of the robotic eye.
"Bang!"
A slender hand emerged from the snowstorm without warning, its five fingers like an iron cage, precisely gripping the Winter Soldier's prized Mechanical Left Arm wrist.
The Winter Soldier's pupils contracted sharply. The surging mechanical power within him could not advance even a millimeter before this seemingly pale hand. The gears emitted a piercing grinding sound as they were forcibly stopped.
Lynn's face, with its chilling smile, rapidly magnified in the Winter Soldier's vision.
I told you, I'm going to pull your tooth out myself.
Lynn's voice boomed in the Winter Soldier's ears. Then, Lynn's left hand, fingers clenched like a knife, muscles bulging, aimed at the Titanium Alloy joint connecting the Winter Soldier's mechanical arm and shoulder, and with a swift, slicing force, brought it down—
