Intercepting the Winter Soldier, Lynn's Hand-to-Hand Debut
"Bang--!"
The collision between flesh and high-strength Titanium Alloy produced a muffled thud like the roar of explosives.
Lynn's left hand, held together like a knife, precisely sliced into the bearing gap connecting the Winter Soldier's Mechanical Left Arm and shoulder. He didn't use a single trace of Chaos Magic, relying solely on the terrifying kinetic energy resulting from the Super-Soldier Serum and his Spider Physiology.
Sparks shot out from the joint like a fountain, instantly cooling into black slag in the frigid winds and snow of minus forty degrees Celsius. The pungent smell of engine oil mixed with the acrid smell of burning filled the nostrils.
For the first time, a look of astonishment flashed across the Winter Soldier's face, which had been devoid of human emotion. His prized mechanical arm, capable of smashing through the steel plates of an armored vehicle with a single punch, was now being jammed shut by a fleshy hand.
"Too slow." Lynn's lips curled into a cruel smile, his exhaled breath instantly torn apart by the gale.
The Winter Soldier possessed exceptional combat instincts. The instant his left arm was restrained, his right hand drew High-Frequency Vibrating Dagger from his tactical thigh strap. The blade tore through the air with a piercing shriek, heading straight for Lynn's throat.
This was just a feint.
In the exact fraction of a second that the dagger was thrust forward, the Winter Soldier's right knee, propelled by the twisting motion of his waist, slammed into Lynn's groin. This was the purest, most lethal killing technique, devoid of any superfluous movements.
However, compared to Lynn's Spider-Sense, which was enhanced by the best of the Multiverse, this level of attack trajectory was like a low-quality movie played in slow motion.
Lynn made no attempt to dodge. He even deliberately removed the Invisible Force Field covering his body, allowing the High-Frequency Vibrating Dagger to slice across his neck.
"Hiss--"
The blade sliced through, leaving only a residual image on the retina due to its extremely rapid movement.
The real Lynn had already glided to the Winter Soldier's side like a ghost, defying the common sense of human skeletal strength.
"Are your actions all pre-programmed?" Lynn's cold voice boomed in the Winter Soldier's ears.
Before the Winter Soldier could react, Lynn's right leg had already transformed into a long black whip, lashing out with a sonic boom that tore through the snow and wind, and striking the Winter Soldier's ribs hard.
"Click, click, click!"
A series of rapid cracking sounds suddenly rang out. The Winter Soldier's body, enhanced by the serum and comparable to steel, was like being hit head-on by a high-speed heavy truck. He was sent flying sideways, smashing into the thick ice and creating a deep trench more than twenty meters long.
Ice shards flew everywhere, and ice fragments mixed with the Winter Soldier's coughed-up blood, leaving a shocking red trail on the snow.
Lynn stood there, twisting his neck, his knuckles cracking like popping beans. He looked down at his hands, his eyes narrowing in satisfaction.
The Super-Soldier Serum granted him limitless stamina and perfect muscle density, while the Spider Physiology complemented his flexibility and extreme reflex speed. The fusion of the two is far more complex than simply one plus one equals two.
That's enough. No magic, no props needed; with just his physical body, he can physically overwhelm the vast majority of so-called super soldiers in this world.
"Get up." Lynn crunched through the snow, walking step by step toward the Winter Soldier who was struggling to his feet, his eyes filled with contempt. "I haven't yet tested the limits of this body. You'd better hold on a little longer."
The red light in the Winter Soldier's mechanical eyes flashed wildly, and his core engine was operating at overload, emitting a sharp hum. He spat out a mouthful of bloody saliva, and like a Beast driven to the brink of Extremis, let out a non-human roar, charging at Lynn once again.
This time, the Winter Soldier abandoned all defense. His Mechanical Left Arm blazed with a deep blue light, and the energy Tesseract Extract was pushed to its limit. With a punch, the air in front of him was compressed into a ring of white sonic boom clouds.
Lynn did not back down.
He took a deep breath, the icy air filling his lungs, his heart roaring like a heavy engine. The muscles in his right arm swelled instantly, the veins bulging like dragons, and he met the Winter Soldier's mechanical fist, powerful enough to smash down a building, with a straightforward punch.
"Boom--!!!"
The moment their fists collided, a violent Impact spread outwards in a ring from the two men. The snow within a ten-meter radius was instantly cleared, revealing the pitch-black, millennia-old ice layer beneath. Immediately afterward, the hard ice layer cracked inch by inch, like a spider web.
The Winter Soldier's body shuddered violently, and the armor plates on his Mechanical Left Arm shattered under the terrifying reaction force, revealing the intricate wiring inside, which was flashing with electrical sparks.
Lynn's feet carved two shallow craters into the ice, but his back remained ramrod straight, and even his breathing remained perfectly steady.
"Is this all the power you have?"
Lynn grabbed the Winter Soldier's mechanical arm by the wrist with his other hand. His fingers tightened sharply, and the terrifying grip deformed the Titanium Alloy shell, sending sparks flying everywhere.
The next second, Lynn used his waist to lift the 190-pound Winter Soldier with an extremely violent over-the-shoulder throw, slamming him hard onto the ice rock beneath his feet.
The ice and rock shattered. The Winter Soldier opened his mouth and spat out a mouthful of blood mixed with fragments of internal organs, completely losing his ability to resist.
Not far away, Wanda hovered silently in mid-air. Scarlet Chaos Particles danced at her fingertips, her eyes fixed on Lynn with fascination. She watched the man trample his enemy underfoot with the most primal and violent means, and that domineering aura of absolute control made her breath quicken, and a morbid possessiveness grew wildly in her blood.
That was her man. Only she was qualified to stand beside him.
Just as Lynn raised his foot, ready to crush the Winter Soldier's obstructive mechanical arm, an extremely dangerous warning suddenly pierced his Spider-Sense without warning.
It didn't come from underground, but from the sky above.
"Boom--"
A deafening sonic boom tore through the wind and snow. A massive metal airdrop pod crashed like a meteor into the ruins dozens of meters away, kicking up a cloud of snow.
That was Stark Industries ' greatest masterpiece, the Veronica System.
The airdrop pod unfolded layer by layer, and countless Heavy Armor components gleaming with golden-red light roared out.
Tony Stark, slumped in his wrecked mech, had bloodshot eyes burning with a hatred that could consume his reason. He stared at the murderer lying at the bottom of the crater, the killer of his parents, and only one thought remained in his mind—kill him!
The armor components were quickly assembled on Tony's body. The brand-new Hulkbuster Backup Armor rose from the ground, and the Arc Reactor in his chest lit up with an unprecedentedly dazzling White Light.
Die!!!
Tony let out a hoarse roar. He had completely lost his mind and didn't care that Lynn and the seriously injured Natasha were still within his attack range.
The armored arms rose, and the shoulder missile bays opened completely. The energy reading of the chest- Repulsor Cannon instantly soared to two hundred percent.
Devastating heavy firepower, fueled by Tony's madness, relentlessly locked onto the Winter Soldier's location.
Faced with this relentless bombardment powerful enough to evaporate an entire ice field, Lynn did not dodge.
He slowly turned his head, a dangerous glint in his eyes, and his left hand was aimed directly at the oncoming barrage of artillery fire.
