Cold.

Extremely cold.

When Lynn slammed the silver, rhomboid metal object into his palm, Susan shuddered violently. The metal surface was as cold as ice, yet it was stained with the scalding blood from Lynn's palm. Two completely opposite sensations exploded on her skin, frantically drilling into her brain along her nerve endings.

That was a specially made Single-Soldier Space Teleportation Talisman by S.H.I.E.L.D..

"No... no!" The moment Susan saw what it was, the madness in her eyes turned into extreme terror. She frantically tried to open her fingers and throw the teleportation talisman away.

She knew all too well what this thing did. Once activated, anyone within half a meter would be instantly teleported out of the danger zone.

But Lynn's left hand gripped her five fingers tightly.

That hand could no longer be called a hand. Under Doom's raging green Destruction Ray, Lynn's tactical uniform on his left arm had long since vaporized, the flesh torn and Carbonization into black charcoal, and the stark white finger bones exposed to the air. Yet this bone claw, which seemed on the verge of shattering at any moment, unleashed a power that Susan could not budge.

"Let go! Lynn, let go of me!" Susan screamed hoarsely, tears washing away the blood on her face. "I don't need your help! Let me die with you!"

"Shut up."

Lynn's voice was so faint that it was almost completely drowned out by the roar of the magical storm, yet it carried an unyielding ferocity.

He lowered his head with difficulty, his face, cracked and covered in blood from the intense heat, almost touching Susan's nose. In his dark eyes, there was no fear of death, only an intense, suffocating obsession.

"Remember..." With each word Lynn uttered, large clumps of black blood oozed from the corner of his mouth, "Your life... belongs to me. Without my permission... even Hell won't take you."

The moment he finished speaking, Lynn pressed his thumb heavily on the core button of the teleportation talisman.

"Buzz--!"

A blindingly dark blue beam of light shot into the sky from the teleportation talisman, instantly enveloping Susan's body.

At the very second the blue light appeared, Doom's Destruction Ray finally broke through Lynn's physical limits.

"Snap!"

Lynn's spine cracked with a crisp sound.

In Susan's rapidly contracting pupils, Lynn's shoulders, chest, and even the face that had been twisting a grimace at her, all collapsed in that instant. Large chunks of charred Carbonization peeled off, turning into a shower of black ash that rained down on Susan's face and body.

A drop of scalding blood, passing over the ashes, landed precisely on Susan's forehead.

hot.

It was so hot it made even my soul tremble.

[Ding! The host has achieved the ultimate sacrifice ending.]

[Final Conclusion: Even if it means being shattered to pieces, I will protect you.]

[The target's emotional threshold has been exceeded, and their Yandere Personality has fully awakened.]

[Overall Rating: SS S-rank! Currently drawing target abilities and related rewards...]

The system's mechanical voice flashed briefly in the depths of Lynn's Oblivion consciousness.

"Lynn --!!!"

A bloodcurdling scream erupted from the ruins of Latveria.

Susan suddenly reached out her hands, wanting to embrace the man who had shielded her from death. But all her fingertips passed through was a handful of scalding black ash.

A sudden flash of eerie blue light.

Susan's figure completely disappeared from the spot.

"Boom!"

Without Lynn's obstruction, the green Destruction Ray bombarded the bottom of the crater without hindrance, completely melting the ground within a radius of 100 meters into boiling lava.

Doctor Doom hovered in mid-air, coldly watching the churning lava below, a disdainful snort emanating from beneath his mask, "A foolish sacrifice."

The Real World.

Top-floor laboratory of the Baxter Building, Manhattan, New York, United States.

The central air conditioning blew out cool air at a constant temperature, and the air was filled with a faint aroma of coffee mixed with the smell of disinfectant. Sunlight streamed through the huge floor-to-ceiling windows and onto the gleaming floor; everything seemed so peaceful and ordinary.

Mister Fantastic Reed Richards is standing in front of a huge transparent whiteboard, holding a marker and writing complex spatial physics equations at lightning speed.

"Susan, regarding the energy collapse model of the fourth Dimension, I think there's a fatal flaw in our previous derivation," Reed said without turning his head, his tone revealing absolute rationality and focus. "If we replace variable X with the decay rate of gamma rays, perhaps we can..."

He received no response.

Standing three meters behind him was Susan Stone, holding two cups of freshly brewed hot coffee. She was dressed in a smart white lab coat, her long blonde hair piled up behind her head, and she was gently watching her fiancé's back.

Without any warning.

"Clatter."

Two Ceramic Coffee Cup slipped from Susan's hands, crashing to the floor and shattering. The scalding brown liquid splashed onto her trouser legs.

Susan's knees buckled, and she collapsed heavily to her knees.

"Ugh--!"

She clutched her chest tightly with both hands, letting out a suppressed scream. Her fingers dug deep into the fabric of her lab coat, her nails almost piercing her skin.

pain.

The excruciating pain of her soul being torn apart overwhelmed her senses like a tsunami.

The smoke of battle in the ruins of Latveria, the raging green rays of Doom, Reed's indifferent turn and teleportation... and the man who shielded her with his own flesh and blood, ultimately turning into ashes in the sky.

The drop of scalding blood falling between his brows, the pungent smell of burnt flesh, the man's domineering gaze before his death.

Everything transcended the Bastion of Simulated Space-Time, and with 100% realism, it madly permeated Susan's memories in reality.

Reed stopped writing with his marker, turned around, and looked at his fiancé kneeling on the ground, trembling. His brows furrowed slightly.

"Susan? What's wrong?" Reed put down his pen, walked over, and asked with a hint of inquisitive curiosity, "Your heart rate spiked to 160 beats per minute in three seconds, and your adrenaline levels are severely excessive. Is it because of recent experiments that you're experiencing nervous fatigue?"

He reached out to help Susan's arm.

"Don't touch me."

A hoarse, chilling voice came from beneath Susan's lowered head.

Reed's hand froze in mid-air as he stared in astonishment at the woman before him. This was not the tone of the gentle, rational, Invisible Woman he knew at all.

Susan slowly raised her head.

That once noble and elegant face was now deathly pale. Her once clear blue eyes were now filled with terrifying bloodshot veins. And what surged in her eyes was a terrifying madness and obsession that Reed could never comprehend in his entire life.

"Reed Richards." Susan stared intently at the man before her, her gaze seemingly piercing through reality, seeing the fiancé who had abandoned her without hesitation for the greater good amidst the ruins.

The anger of betrayal and the extreme heartache of losing Lynn were raging within her.

You're disgusting.

The moment the words left his mouth.

"Boom!"

An invisible Invisible Force Field, yet extremely violent, exploded outwards from Susan's body like a nuclear explosion!

The air was compressed to its limit, producing a deafening explosion.

Reed didn't even have time to react. It was as if he had been hit head-on by a high-speed train. A muffled thud came from his chest, and he was thrown away by the overwhelming Force Field.

"Bang!"

Reed's body slammed against the tempered glass wall ten meters away, cracking the specially made bulletproof glass with large spiderweb-like cracks, before he crashed heavily to the ground, spitting out a mouthful of blood.

"Susan! Are you crazy?!" Reed clutched his chest, shouting in shock.

Susan ignored him.

She stood up from the coffee crumbs scattered on the floor. The surrounding air was distorted to the naked eye due to the high-frequency vibrations of the Force Field. Under the crushing force field, the precision instruments, experimental tables, and whiteboards in the entire top-floor laboratory instantly emitted a metallic twisting sound as they were crushed into a pile of metal discs on the Force Field.

"He's dead... He was burned to ashes while trying to save me..." Susan murmured nervously, clutching her shoulders tightly with both hands.

Her mind was filled with Lynn's final, tragic smile.

"No... that's not right!"

Susan suddenly raised her head, a terrifying light flashing in her bloodshot eyes.

She remembered Lynn's last words.

Your life is mine now. Without my permission, even Hell won't accept you.

How could that domineering man die so easily? He must still be somewhere, he must still be here!

Susan slowly closed her eyes.

Catalyzed by her morbid emotions, the Invisible Force Field within her broke through all previous limits. The invisible Force Field fluctuations, like electromagnetic waves from radar, instantly penetrated the walls of the Baxter Building, sweeping across Manhattan like a tsunami with an extremely tyrannical manner, and spreading wildly in all directions of New York.

One kilometer.

Ten kilometers.

Fifty kilometers.

Force Field fluctuations swept across streets, penetrated tall buildings, and seeped into the ground.

Suddenly, Susan's body trembled violently.

Deep underground in the Outskirts of New York, her Force Field detected an extremely faint fluctuation, deliberately concealed by some kind of Higher-Dimensional Energy.

That was that man's biomagnetic Magnetic Field.

Although it was very faint, she would never mistake that aura, that aura that had shielded her so tightly in the ruins of Latveria, even if it turned to ashes!

Susan suddenly opened her eyes.

Those eyes now held no trace of reason, only a chilling Scarlet and madness.

"Found you."

Susan's lips curled into a sickly smile.

She turned around, not even glancing at Reed lying on the ground, and faced the sky outside the floor-to-ceiling window.

"Boom--!"

The violent, Invisible Force Field transformed into an invisible giant hammer, instantly shattering the entire exterior wall of the top floor of the Baxter Building, along with its bulletproof glass, into dust.

A fierce wind rushed into the ruins of the laboratory.

Susan stepped over the shattered glass and leaped into the air, a thousand meters high. Her body became invisible in mid-air, transforming into an unseen, terrifying storm that hurtled towards the underground base on the Outskirts of New York.
