Chapter Summaries

Lu Wen brought Pepper to Miami to support Tony and joined Tony and Rhodey at Killian’s oil terminal. After arranging for Pepper to stay safe, Lu Wen began fighting the Extremis Soldiers while Tony and Rhodey went after their boss.

• Lu Wen had Venom heal Happy and burn off some of his fat, then learned from Baymax that Tony needed help in Miami.

Lu Wen discovered that killing Devorants earned him abundant system points, then began capturing the scavengers at Bai Yuekui’s request. He cleared the Nirvana Research Institute hall without being noticed, while Bai Yuekui’s group prepared to proceed with their mission.

• Lu Wen checked his refreshed missions and saw rewards for killing Devorants, including up to 100,000 points for a Monarch-Class Polar Slasher.
• Lu Wen asked Bai Yuekui whether Dragon Bone Village could take in the scavengers below, and she agreed to accept them if he could capture them all.

Lu Wen looted the medicine storeroom and rescued scavengers before rejoining Bai Yuekui’s group, while Mark stayed behind to cover the others’ retreat. When the Calyx Beast revived and threatened Mo Cheng’s team, Lu Wen attacked it from his Goblin Glider as the scavengers withdrew to save Mark.

• Lu Wen stripped the storeroom of supplies, rescued scavengers from Xi Rang, and used gasoline and fire to stop its pursuit of Mo Cheng’s group.
