Chen Mo snapped the lever, heard something give way inside the door, and hurriedly crawled aside.
The door panel tipped down onto the small craft.
The craft's stern rose, brushing Chen Mo's legs as it pressed toward the wall. Peter caught it from the other side and pulled it toward a pillar with his webbing, making room for Chen Mo.
Chen Mo squeezed through and straddled the warped hull, the sheet metal beneath his feet creaking under the pressure.
"If this were my car, I'd cry."
The words had barely left his mouth when someone below grabbed his ankle. Chen Mo looked down. A guard held a gun, half his body hidden beneath the support frame, the barrel extending beside his arm as he tried to jab it upward.

Chen Mo flipped down with the pull, landed on the guard's shoulders, clamped his legs around his neck, and seized his helmet to slam it into the hull.
The guard ducked and struggled, swinging the gun backward with him. Peter stuck webbing to the stock through the support frame and pulled down. The beam it fired swept into the metal framework below.
The blast knocked both of them sideways. Chen Mo kicked off the guard's shoulder and leaped clear of the platform.
Chen Mo's knees felt a little numb when he landed. Seeing the guard still reaching for his gun, he kicked him square in the chest. The heavy body struck the platform base, followed by two knocks from his helmet.
Chen Mo brushed the dust off his trouser legs and turned to find Peter.
"Number Two, how many have you got left over there? Taking apart a door nearly took me apart."
