Fengfeng's trial continued.
Ye Qiyan had joined in as well.
The trial had now reached the area where the three missing people had laid their trap.
But in Ye Qiyan's eyes, this so-called trial was utterly boring.
There was no fighting between people.
All they faced were monsters of various kinds.
It was hard to imagine that a test to become a true god would be so simple.
Unless...
It was deliberate.
There had to be trials. All the person who set them wanted was for those who entered this world to pass them.
Because in many of these trials, the issue was not how to pass them, but whether Fengfeng, the true trial-taker, was willing.
For example, breaking off one of her own fingers to use as a key?
Or using her mind to open a seal?
Or pouring blood into a magic array?
Every part of these trials felt eerie, yet each was ridiculously simple.
The truly difficult part was the powerful monsters.
Fengfeng was undoubtedly a weakling. It was indeed difficult for her to get through this place on her own, but generally, once she chose to retreat, the monsters would stop pursuing her.
Unless something unexpected happened.
For example...
"Holy crap! Why am I so unlucky? Wasn't there only supposed to be one monster in the trial?! Why did so many suddenly appear, and why have they all come running out?!"
Fengfeng kept running.
A large number of Wind-Devouring Magical Beasts chased behind her. By a rough count, there were nearly a thousand.
These Wind-Devouring Magical Beasts were all around level 8.
And they were nearly immune to wind attacks.
Fengfeng's attacks were almost useless.
"Fengfeng! Run faster!"
Chloe stood in the distance, anxiously waving to Fengfeng.
She swung her wand, and flickering beams of light
