The next day.
Outside the windows, a terrifying blizzard had painted the entire wilderness white.
The wilderness had become a snowfield, and countless snowfield monsters suddenly appeared, chasing the trains.
Snow Wolves, Snow Demons, Snow Elves...
Their appearance left the Train Conductors whose trains were still at level 2 feeling threatened.
Some could not upgrade and simply gave up, waiting to die. Some spent everything they owned to barely reach level 3. Some could only upgrade their wheels to gain a little speed, while others bought all sorts of Acceleration Devices and escaped this disaster.
Even so, when the monsters made an all-out effort against these Train Conductors whose speed had only reached the minimum threshold, they could still leave some unlucky souls' trains riddled with holes.

The raging blizzard sent temperatures inside and outside the trains plummeting to minus thirty degrees. Without thick clothes to keep warm, they could only curl up in spaces piled together from assorted materials and burn wood to barely get through each day.
But none of this had much to do with Ye Qiyan.
Inside his Constant-Temperature Carriage, which maintained a constant twenty-two degrees above zero.
Ye Qiyan leisurely ate shaved ice. The monsters in the snowfield had no chance of catching a train that had already reached level 4, and only WALL-E worked diligently under his orders.
WALL-E climbed through the train's skylight onto the roof to gather snow and ice, shaped them into blocks of exactly the same size, and stacked them in the storage carriage. Only when it was nearly full did he wave his little mechanical arms and run over to gesture at Ye Qiyan.
"All full? Good work, WALL-E. Your reward is some charging time."
WALL-E happily ran over to the charging device, receiving
