Stasia arrived at Kelaidewen Academy, met Zhao Lin, and discovered that Monrojina was preparing a strange, seemingly maddening King's Authority Pathway ritual.

• Lin You used the last of his strength to help Ye Qiyan and the others escape, while Helen stopped supplying magic power to the teleportation array.
• Dark Creatures attacked the five outer academies as their depleted defenders faced them without reinforcements or communications.
• Stasia returned to Kelaidewen Academy after defeating the Magic Mirror God and learned from Ye Qiyan about the city’s crisis.
• Stasia found Zhao Lin and the Mechanical Legion, then noticed a strange Causality Ritual at Carlot Academy.

Ye Qiyan weighed the City of a Thousand Stars’ likely trap and heard Dream Eater’s proposal for a mission to kill the Dark Grand Duke’s Remains, which he declined to take on alone. As the Dark Creatures began invading Lanmen Academy, Helen promised the Magic Mages she would lead the city to survive.

• Ye Qiyan told Zhao Lin to avoid Monrojina and focus on evading the Dark Creatures and shutting down the Barriers.
• Ye Qiyan reasoned that the City of a Thousand Stars’ Assassins would use the invasion to lure him with the Demon Card of Falsehood, and he resolved to claim it.
• Ye Qiyan returned to the scorched center of Lanmen Academy, where Yulia relayed Dream Eater’s account of the Dark Grand Duke and his proposed mission for the Train Conductors.

• Mar learned that the think tank's plan to draw city rulers into the City of a Thousand Stars had failed and reviewed its analysis of Ye Qiyan.
• The think tank recommended that the Blessers Squad grant Ye Qiyan basic Demon King's Authority to weaken his influence over Evil, and Mar learned the squad was waiting in Arcane Academy City.
• Zhuxing Tu revealed that she had manipulated the think tank's fate-based system, then found a barrier around a Card Sequence guarded by a black-armored swordsman and identified the sequence as a Curse Card.
• Dark Creatures overran Lanmen Academy, spreading corruption that could only be countered with Transcendence-Rank purification magic.

• Eve found that dark creatures were abandoning their battles and converging on Ye Qiyan, but he stayed because [Anchor] remained unaffected.

The city remained under threat, and Ye Qiyan prepared to support the remaining academy magic node as the City of a Thousand Stars' Assassins gathered outside Wandering Hell.

• Dark Creatures and the City of a Thousand Stars’ Transcendent Assassins overwhelmed Arcane Academy City while Helen exhausted herself casting Forbidden Spells.
• Ye Qiyan used the Calamity Card: Eternal Night Moon Silence to raise a silver-white moon that gave the city light.

After the intruders revealed themselves and attacked, Ye Qiyan’s allies fought back, and Xiao Ya killed the woman by creating a Hollow in her heart.

• The Assassins entered Wandering Hell and advanced toward the Pure White Train, believing they had gone unnoticed.
• Red Tears revealed that the Assassins had been discovered, and Ye Qiyan confronted the minds hiding inside their bodies.
• Two controllers emerged, introduced themselves as enemies, and were struck by the Ancient Relic Staff’s beam.
• Cool Moon fought the woman while Villain battered the man, whose rapid resurrection began to slow.

Ye Qiyan defeated the assassins by using Xiao Ya’s Hollow ability to erase their hearts and the souls bound to them. He then resisted an attempt by demons in the Sea of Anti-Reality to force him into becoming their Demon King, and Miatila transformed the world into a Platform World as Ye Qiyan prepared to face the plotters.

• Ye Qiyan explained that Xiao Ya’s Hollow could erase the heart and soul at the center of the assassins’ memory flesh, then had Xiao Ya kill the man after it had killed the woman.
• Cool Moon and Eve finished off the remaining assassins while the nanite swarm collected their weapons.
• Ye Qiyan heard demons in the Sea of Anti-Reality trying to corrupt him into becoming their Demon King, and he shattered the crown of Corruption.

While allies arrived to defend Arcane Academy City, Monrojina discovered a way to use the darkness and proposed that she and Ye Qiyan devour it together.

• The Focus Guild restored its livestream, and Afuxiao led five Abucado trains into the darkness to help defend Arcane Academy City.
• Fang Cheng, Aien, Don Quixote, and over a hundred Heavenly Realm trains arrived to evacuate people before the City of a Thousand Stars could block departures.

• Monrojina drew karmic debts from beings across countless worlds into her ritual, lowering their mental limits and feeding the resentment back into the web.
• After the King's Authority of Karma appeared, Monrojina rejected and smashed it, then climbed into the karma web as her Ritual Cards cut its strings.
• Monrojina lost her memories as the karma doorway opened and began to swallow her, while her abandoned Sovereign Ring returned and her divinity began to form.
• Zhao Lin entered the Darkness Abyss with Jiekehei's original magical lamp and searched the fallen Kelaidewen Academy while Stasia stayed behind to protect the weak.
• Zhao Lin found a white bone key, and her system identified it as a key that could open and guide her to a barrier.

After fifteen hours of battle, Ye Qiyan and the Dark Grand Duke had both reached their limits, but Ye Qiyan used an elixir to recover from True Fatigue and prepared one final attack. Their clash ended with Ye Qiyan’s bullet piercing Shishi’s heart and the Dark Grand Duke acknowledging his victory.

• Ye Qiyan exhausted Dreamweaving’s remaining power, while the Dark Grand Duke revealed that their battle had consumed nearly all his remaining time.
• Ye Qiyan drank Zhao Xi’s Peace and Harmony Elixir, returned to ordinary fatigue, and let Mingming and his exhausted companions rest.

• Ye Qiyan completed his Ascension, raising his Mind to 2000, then approached the dying Dark Grand Duke.
• The Dark Grand Duke refused to seek survival and explained that his rule had blocked new life from emerging in the darkness.

• Ye Qiyan’s victory over the Dark Grand Duke triggered the ascension of his rings into the Extreme Evil, Supreme Desire Overlord’s Ring, granting him control over malice and the power to bestow Supreme Desire on Demons.

• Void showed Gray Fog the frozen Jiekehei and explained that he had modified him to control darkness by taking the Dark Grand Duke’s seat.
• Void warned that humans such as Ye Qiyan, the Witch of Starfall, and the being called Love could thwart Gray Fog, then vanished to continue writing his fairy tale.
• Gray Fog cast Jiekehei into the world and sent him toward the Dark Monarch’s seat so he could become a True God.
• Zhuxing Tu trapped and crushed Jiekehei with a prison of fate, then took the cloud of gray fog he carried.

• Ye Qiyan woke after twenty-three hours of sleep and learned from Lisette that his companions had stayed beside him while he rested.

• At the center of the Web of Karma, Monrojina emerged from a cocoon, forgot who she was, and discarded her Wand Sword and memories.
• Ye Qiyan arrived on the Train and called Monrojina ugly, prompting her to question her appearance and ask who he was.
• Ye Qiyan used [Cause and Effect Recompense] to bind Monrojina with a Karmic Chain and struck her with [Blasphemy Card V: Judgment Enforcer] for failing to repay her debts.
• Monrojina attacked Ye Qiyan with tangled causes, but he dispersed them with a second chain and told her that her current karma was weak and meaningless.
