Ye Qiyan ascended his train to level 7 and bought all four upgrade options, leaving him with only seven Train Coins. As he prepared to rest before the next station, Zhuxing Tu sent him coordinates for a platform with a Demon Card.

  • Ye Qiyan used the Ice Vein Pearl to endure the heat and ascended the train to level 7, raising its speed to 140 kilometers per hour.
  • Ye Qiyan reviewed the upgrade options and spent Train Coins on the High-Energy Electric Furnace, Storage Matrix, Self-Purification module, and Train Space Expansion.

  • Ye Qiyan refused to help without a convincing reason or greater reward, pointing out that he could keep the coins and leave Altos behind.

  • WALL-E led Ye Qiyan into the black forest, where they found a red sword embedded in a boulder beside a black skeleton.
  • Red Tears and the Raven Demon destroyed the skeleton, and Ye Qiyan’s appraisal identified the sword as the level 12 Tear of War, which could only be drawn by someone who understood war.
  • Ye Qiyan tried to draw the sword, but its mental influence made him relive a battlefield and lowered his mental stat; he used the Purpleheart Mist Orb to end the effect.
  • Ye Qiyan realized Red Tears understood war and had her grasp the hilt; she easily drew the sword, causing the boulder to crumble.
