Liu Yuan avenged himself on the couple who killed him, then died holding his mother as she passed away in his arms. After their bodies were taken away and the couple were arrested, Qin Yan and Fu Wenzi returned to the manor, while a Griffin’s delivery caused a stir in District Nine.

• Liu Yuan left the cheating couple alive but cursed them to endure a sinister chill every night, then held his dying mother, Granny Liu, as she died.
• Fu Wenzi explained that Liu Yuan was not an Anomaly and would leave after fulfilling his last wish; Liu Yuan asked the Village Chief to bury them and then died.
• The villagers arranged for Liu Yuan and Granny Liu to be cremated, and police arrested the couple after livestreams captured their confession.

• After Fu Yunshen and the others left on missions, Old Master Fu received word that villagers had disappeared and that Qin Yan's great-great-grandmother had gone missing while leading a search.
• Old Master Fu took Qin Yan to Cloudtop Miao Village on Fubao, where Li Wenle explained that many villagers had vanished in the mountains and the search party had lost contact.

Qin Yan and Qin Zhuo entered the ant nest to find Great-Great-Grandmother and the other missing villagers, with Jinbao tracking the captured person’s scent.

• Jixiang spotted venomous spiders overhead, and the group burned their webs while Fubao protected them from the falling spiders with bubbles.
• Qin Yan and the others found enormous ants carrying an unconscious person toward their caves, and Li Wenle worried that the swarm was too large to confront.
• Jinbao charged the ants, then used black mist to drain their life force as Jixiang and Jelly attacked the swarm with wind and poison.
• Qin Zhuo carried Qin Yan into the ant nest, while Old Master Fu and the others followed to help find Great-Great-Grandmother.

Jinbao led Qin Yan, Qin Zhuo, and the others through the vast ant nest, where they battled giant Red Army Ants and found their nursery. They rescued the captured villagers, including the unconscious Old Clan Chief Li, and began carrying everyone home.

• Jinbao led the group deeper into the ant nest as they encountered poisonous slime, skeletons, and increasingly large mutated ants.
• The group fought the Red Army Ants, while Qin Yan discovered that yellow crystals on their foreheads strengthened their defenses and gathered crystals with her hoe.
• Qin Yan healed injured and exhausted fighters, restoring their strength as the group pushed farther into the nest.

After giving Li Wenle ant eggs to study, she went home with Old Master Fu and kept the golden egg she had found.

• Lingti caught a plump shrimp, and Jelly brought more fish and shellfish ashore for Qin Yan and Fu Yunting to taste.

Team 007 discovered that Qin Yan’s dog Jinbao was an intelligent Anomaly and learned more about Qin Yan’s Beast Taming ability and influential family connections. Jinbao carried the group toward the desert, where they encountered vulture-like Anomalies feeding near a vehicle, and Team 007 prepared to fight.

• Jinbao revealed himself as an intelligent Anomaly, but he obediently lowered his head for Qin Yan to pet and carried her as Team 007 followed.
• Yun Ye messaged Director Nangong, who told him to protect Qin Yan and hinted that she might save the team; Lu Fei then revealed that Qin Yan had Beast Taming and that her younger uncle was Fu Nanshan.
• As the group crossed the scorching landscape into the desert, Meimei used an ice crystal stone to cool Qin Yan, and Qin Yan shared another stone and secretly restored the team’s stamina.
• Qin Yan urged Jinbao onward, and he ran with the group until they came upon vulture-like Anomalies gathered around a bloodied vehicle and human remains.
• Team 007 charged the Anomalies while Xia Yu stayed beside Qin Yan and promised to protect her; Qin Yan said she was not afraid because she had seen this before.

Qin Yan and Team 007 encountered a sea of flowers whose scent trapped them in terrifying illusions, but Qin Yan and Little Butterfly freed them. Meimei gave the team tumi branches to protect them as they prepared to cross the flowers, and Yang Qing confirmed the branches worked.

• Jixiang killed several powerful Anomalies, and Qin Yan clarified that Fubao and Meimei were not Anomalies.
• Yun Ye's team identified the dead people as members of a criminal organization and continued searching for the missing Ability Users.
• Jinbao led the group to an explosive battle near a sea of flowers, whose fragrance made Team 007 and Fubao fall into illusions and crash to the ground.

• Meimei gave Qin Yan a flowering bramble branch, allowing her and Team 007 to cross the sea of flowers while Dreamweaving Butterfly enjoyed the nectar.
