At Kraft's insistence, Angela finally changed how she addressed him and began calling Kraft "big brother," just like Alice did.
"Should I make myself an older brother or sister next time?"
Kraft scratched his head, cast aside those wild thoughts, stepped onto his skateboard, and headed back to eat the breakfast Alice had prepared.
"Big brother, it's the weekend again. Let's go help out at the FEAST shelter together!"
While they were eating breakfast, Alice suddenly made the suggestion.
"Cough... cough cough..."
Kraft's wrist jerked as he drank his porridge, and he choked.
Taking the tissue Alice handed him and wiping his mouth, Kraft put on a regretful expression. "I received an invitation to the Stark Expo yesterday. I'm busy designing exhibits for it right now, so I really don't have the time."
"Is that so? All right, then."
Alice had been the one to give Kraft the Stark Expo invitation in the first place, so he fooled her easily.
"Then I'll have to take Quinn with me."
"I'm shocked!"
Quinn, who had buried his entire head in his food bowl, raised his head and widened his dog eyes.
"Is this reasonable?! I'm just a dog! Why are you doing this to me?!"
Yet no matter how he struggled, Alice, who was especially forceful in such matters, ultimately dragged him away.
"Good thing I'm a cat..."
Bear watched Quinn get dragged away by Alice, flicking her tail in gloating delight.
"If I arranged things properly, you could help too."
Kraft said gloomily from the side.
"Meow!!!"
Bear arched her back and puffed up her fur at Kraft, putting on a fierce front despite her lack of courage. "I'll scratch you!"
