Meanwhile, Konoha learned that the Eight-Nation Alliance was preparing an invasion with roughly 300,000 troops, and Seiichi planned to ask Nine-Tails to persuade the other tailed beasts to surrender.

• Orochimaru injected Obito with an unknown liquid, awakening a power that let Obito break free and seize him before collapsing from the strain.
• Orochimaru sedated Obito, restrained him again, sealed his chakra, and later explained the experiment to him.
• Obito agreed to cooperate with Orochimaru so he could understand the power within him.

• Kurama urged the Tailed Beasts to cause trouble for Konoha's enemies at a crucial point in the war and promised they could live freely in Konoha if they proved themselves.
• Son Goku and the other Tailed Beasts agreed to Kurama's proposal, choosing the chance of freedom over the risks of helping Konoha.

• Seiichi killed an Iwa Shinobi who fled past Kakashi, then ordered Kakashi to return to Konoha and summon the troops.
• Seiichi addressed the assembled forces at the Konoha Gate, ordered them to show no mercy, and set the army in motion with Kurama.
• Seiichi left Tsunade and Minato in charge of Konoha and used his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan to transport more than a thousand people and Kurama away.

Hikari killed Fourth Kazekage Rasa and rallied Konoha’s forces to pursue the fleeing Sunagakure ninja. The story then shifted to Shisui and Itachi’s team confronting Karatachi Yagura of Kirigakure.

• Hikari used her Susanoo and the Amaterasu Mitama Mirror to trap Rasa, then pierced his heart and severed his head.
• Hikari stored Rasa’s corpse in a sealing scroll, raised his head, and ordered her clanspeople to pursue and kill the fleeing Sunagakure ninja.
• Konoha’s ninja cheered while the Sunagakure ninja fled, and Hikari and Mikoto’s team secured a major victory.
• The story shifted back to Shisui and Itachi, who waited openly for Kirigakure’s approaching ninja.

Shisui and the Uchiha fought Kirigakure after Karatachi Yagura opened with a Tailed Beast Bomb. Shisui used Kotoamatsukami to turn Mei Terumi against her allies, while Itachi confronted Yagura.

• Karatachi Yagura transformed and fired a Tailed Beast Bomb at the Uchiha, but Isobu revolted and an orange-red Susanoo blocked the attack with its mirror.
• Shisui, Itachi, and the other Uchiha manifested Susanoo, and Shisui and Itachi grew theirs into Perfect Susanoo; Itachi went after Yagura while Shisui attacked Kirigakure's fighters.
• Shisui's Yasaka Magatama caused heavy casualties, while Mei Terumi's Boil Release filled the battlefield with steam and Utakata struggled against Saiken's revolt.
• Shisui changed into miniature Susanoo armor, moved too quickly for the Kirigakure fighters to track, and killed Ao.

Shisui and Itachi attacked the Mist forces as the Six-Tails Saiken escaped and Utakata died. Itachi incapacitated Karatachi Yagura with Tsukuyomi, but the Three-Tails Isobu continued rampaging beneath the lake.

• Uchiha Aoyama struck Utakata with Susanoo, breaking his concentration and allowing Six-Tails Saiken to escape; Saiken killed Utakata with corrosive slime.
• Juzo Biwa and Raiga Kurosuki struggled to hold off Mei Terumi while protecting the Mist Ninja, as Shisui raced through the battlefield killing them.
• Karatachi Yagura used Water Release: Water Mirror Technique to create an imitation of Itachi, but Itachi stomped the copy to pieces.
• Zabuza Momochi attacked Itachi, who killed him with a Susanoo stomp.

Uchiha Itachi freed Isobu and helped the tailed beasts devastate the Mist Ninja, while Shisui killed Mei Terumi and Raiga Kurosuki. The story then shifted to Fugaku’s group preparing to face Kumogakure, where Uchiha Raimei claimed he had mastered the Eight Gates.

• Isobu escaped Karatachi Yagura’s Tsukuyomi, crushed the dying Fourth Mizukage, and agreed to fight alongside Itachi.
• Isobu and Saiken fired repeated Tailed Beast Bombs at the Mist Ninja, while Itachi warned the Konoha Ninja to dodge.
• Shisui found Juzo Biwa dead, then used a swarm of clones to decapitate Mei Terumi and Raiga Kurosuki and gathered the famous swords.

Fugaku's Uchiha forces fought A and Kumogakure's elite, using Susanoo and overwhelming attacks to inflict heavy casualties. Leidong killed Toroi, while Matatabi and Gyuki caused Yugito Nii and Killer B to lose control of their tailed beast chakra, leaving Killer B badly wounded by Fugaku's Susanoo.

• A charged at Fugaku, but Raimei blocked his Lariat with the Fourth Gate and Uchiha Style: Wave Strong Fist, getting sent crashing through trees.
• The battle began as Kumogakure advanced and the Uchiha answered with Susanoo; Fugaku's Perfect Susanoo evaded Killer B's Lariat and bombarded the Kumogakure forces with four-pointed throwing stars.
• Leidong escaped Toroi's Gold Dust Burial and killed him with a purple lightning blade.
• Matatabi and Gyuki made Yugito Nii and Killer B's tailed beast chakra run wild as they prepared to attack.
• Fugaku's Susanoo struck Killer B, cutting away part of his Tailed Beast Cloak and severing his right arm.

Yingle knocked Yugito Nii unconscious, freeing Matatabi, who killed her before Dodai brought out Kumogakure’s Six Paths Tools. Yanren secretly replaced the tools and, after revealing himself to Dodai with a covered fake pot, faced Dodai’s Lava Release: Rubber Wall.

• Yingle’s Susanoo hammer knocked Yugito Nii unconscious, allowing Matatabi to break free from her body.
• Matatabi burned Yugito Nii to ashes, killing Kumogakure’s Two-Tails Jinchūriki.
• Dodai unsealed Kumogakure’s Six Paths Tools after seeing the force’s heavy losses and Killer B’s grave injury.
• Yanren used his Mangekyō Sharingan technique to replace the Six Paths Tools, leaving a nonfunctional fake Amber Purifying Pot in their place.
• Yanren covered the fake pot with a cloth bearing the Uchiha emblem, dispelled the genjutsu, and revealed himself to Dodai.
• Dodai shouted “Lava Release: Rubber Wall!” and raised a hardened lava wall to block Yanren.

Yanren captured Dodai and attacked the Cloud shinobi while Fugaku’s genjutsu freed Gyuki from Killer B. As A rushed to save Killer B, Raimei opened the Gate of Death and appeared before him, radiating lethal danger.

• Yanren tricked Dodai into answering his name, sealed him inside the Amber Purifying Pot, and charged into the Cloud shinobi with Susanoo.
• Fugaku cast another Heart-Questioning genjutsu on the wounded Killer B, causing Gyuki to break free.
• Gyuki revealed his hostility and prepared to fire a Tailed Beast Bomb at Killer B, while A tried to reach him.
• Raimei blocked A and warned that Killer B could not survive Gyuki’s escape, but A rushed past him to save Killer B.
• Raimei used God's Blessing to lock his state in place, opened the Gate of Death, and appeared in front of A.

Uchiha Raimei defeated Fourth Raikage A with Night Guy, while Killer B died and Gyuki unleashed a Tailed Beast Bomb against the battlefield. After Fugaku ordered the Konoha forces to wipe out the remaining Cloud Ninja, the story shifted to Seiichi’s group as they faced Ōnoki at the ambush site.

• A used Hell Stab: One-Finger Nukite against Raimei, who answered with Night Guy, and their attacks collided in a massive explosion.
• Raimei stood as the sole survivor of the clash, with only a fragment of Fourth Raikage A’s Metal Belt remaining at his feet.
• Konoha’s ninja cheered Raimei, who deactivated God's Blessing and returned to his normal condition after the fight.
