"Lady Tsunade's Medical Ninjutsu is truly incredible!"

Meikyō looked at his fully restored arm and could not help but marvel.

Even knowing that Tsunade was the strongest Medical Ninja, anyone who witnessed her Medical Ninjutsu firsthand could not help but be amazed.

"If more people could learn Medical Ninjutsu like this, far fewer people in the village would die in this war. Unfortunately, the proposal to establish a medical system was not approved at the last Jonin meeting."

Dan Katō sat beside the spotless window, thinking of the other Jonin teammate who had died while carrying out a mission with Kiyomi Kōtō.

Under the pure white lights, Dan Katō's smooth blue hair gleamed brilliantly. Combined with his handsome face and melancholy eyes, he was a veritable Maiden Killer.

At least, Tsunade—still a Young Maiden at the time—fell for it completely.

"It's all right, Dan."

Tsunade gave Dan Katō a sweet smile and said,

"Although the village did not approve the proposal, the Old Man still let me select a small group of ninja to study Medical Ninjutsu first. They have already played a major role in this war. The village will probably approve my proposal before long!"

Tsunade raised her chin proudly, then shifted her gaze toward Meikyō and the others.

"Say, why don't you three learn some Medical Ninjutsu from me too? Even if you only master the basics, it can greatly improve your chances of surviving on the battlefield."

The three of them exchanged looks, each seeing the delight in the others' eyes.

"Well, I didn't bring you any gifts, so I might as well teach you a useful basic Medical Ninjutsu! If you can master it and learn the advanced techniques afterward, you will probably qualify as true Medical Ninja."

As Tsunade spoke, she energetically led everyone outside.

Watching this, Dan Katō wore a faint smile on his handsome face and followed after them.

If they could become Medical Ninja, these students would have a much greater chance of surviving on the battlefield in the future. A few minutes later, Meikyō and the others returned to Tsunade and Dan Katō with their catches.

Meikyō carried two Mountain Chickens, Aburame Nami had caught a Wild Rabbit, and Inuzuka Ryo, together with Tetsu Maru, had caught several River Fish from the river.

"Good! Now, let me show you!"

Tsunade jumped down from the boulder and took the Wild Rabbit.

"I'll shave off this rabbit's fur first so you can see more clearly."

A blue glow lit up in Tsunade's hand, then condensed into the shape of a scalpel.

This was an A-rank Medical Ninjutsu: Chakra Scalpel.

"Watch closely!"

Tsunade first knocked the Wild Rabbit unconscious. Then, using the Chakra Scalpel, she shaved away a large patch of fur, severed its spine so that it could no longer feel its body, and made another cut across it.

Meikyō held a kunai and hesitated for a moment before making a small cut in the Mountain Chicken's plucked skin. He did not want the wound to be too large, in case his skill was insufficient to stop the bleeding completely.

"First, gather the Chakra in my hand, then..."

The movements Tsunade had just made, recorded by his Sharingan, flashed through his mind. Meikyō slowly pressed his hand onto the wound.

Several minutes later, when Meikyō moved his hand away, the small wound had completely healed.

"Not bad, little Uchiha."

After taking a look, Tsunade smiled and patted Meikyō's head before turning to instruct Inuzuka Ryo and Aburame Nami.

Although she came from the Senju Clan, Tsunade did not harbor the same intense hostility toward the Uchiha Clan as Tobirama Senju had. Like her grandfather Hashirama Senju, she had cast aside clan prejudice.

In the original work, Kakashi used the Hemostasis Technique while fighting Obito in the Kamui Space. It should have been a simple Medical Ninjutsu for temporarily treating wounds.
